Did you know that oysters are not only delicious to eat, they are critical for Chesapeake Bay recovery efforts? They improve water quality and create habitat for the other species that we Marylanders love to eat like Blue Crabs and Rockfish. Oyster shell is the best, most natural material used to rebuild oyster reefs – and it’s in very short supply. That's why we participate in Oyster Recovery Partnership's Shell Recycling Alliance 🦪♻️. Feel great knowing that the shells from the oysters you consume here make their way back to the Chesapeake, helping to restore a national treasure!
