Good afternoon all. I have an old school friend coming to town to work at the new power plant in Greenville. He will be here for approximately 1year. He’s looking for a place to rent while he’s here. He’s a great guy. He’s looking for something furnished if possible.

Good morning all. I know we have great success on Friday’s with our ribs and catfish plates but due to short staff we are just doing short order items today. We still hope to see you all here.
Remember Jesus Christ is the great physician and can heal all physical, mental, financial any and all problems if you believe in him and seek him and you come to him with your whole heart he will here you. We also have to trust in his timing because his timing may not line up with our want to timing. As humans we think we know best and want what we want when we want it. But if we trust in the lord he will see us thru it at the right time. Faith of a mustard seed is all it takes to move mountains and that what he tells us in his word. Have a great Friday everyone.

Good morning all. I've been torn between a couple of opportunities or keep Boyette's Grocery open. It's a hard decision because we have grown and got to know a lot of local good folks in the community as well as travelers that visit us from time to time. But there is an opportunity that I just can't pass up. With that being said I will be putting the store up for sale by owner at first. The store has a proven track record for success. It's in a prime small community setting with a school just down the road and great support from our local farmers and community. Not to mention the out-of-town travelers stopping in. Harvest time is getting ready to kick off and school season is about to be back in so things are really about to ramp up. If you haven't been in to see us we have completly remodeled our public restroom and get a lot of great compliments on that. We have also redesigned shelving to a more country style look and started revamping our dinning area to meet the old country store look as well. If interested or know someone who may be interested please give us a call here at the store, on facebook or messenger. The store is priced to sell.

Happy Friday all. Boyette’s Grocery is looking for a full time kitchen cook. This position is a mostly 6 days a week position. Pay is dependent on experience. We are a small convenience store with a small kitchen but we serve some of the greats customers out there. So a positive attitude is a must. Come see us if interested or just come see anyway. Boyette’s Grocery is now carrying Barrett’s Bee Farm honey. Locally grown and harvested out of Leland, Ms. pure honey unprocessed with any other ingredients. Spun straight from the comb, strained and into the jar. This stuff is amazing. We also have Mrs Jenkins pickles locally out of Glenn Allen, Ms. spicy, bread and butter, zesty bread and butter and dill. Yall come check us out.

Happy Wednesday all. Our cook, miss Tina, is taking off this weekend for some much needed relaxation. So we will not be serving breakfast this coming Saturday here at Boyette’s Grocery in Avon. We will still have the store open but no hot plates or lunches. That’s this Saturday 6/20/26. Hope everyone has a great Wednesday and give thanks to our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
