In 1977, Rick Cuny was enjoying a few cocktails in Minturn, Colorado when he entered a naming contest for the “Best New Name” for a store in Avon, Colorado. The town was the future ski resort; Beaver Creek was to open in 1980. Rick won the contest and the name was Beaver Liquors. Rick immediately saw the potential to own his own business and purchased the name and location where Beaver Liquors thrives today. For years, we've been following the essential principle of "Our Customer's Come First!"

Thanks so much for stopping by our small local business to share the information regarding Door Dash. Obviously small businesses, especially in today's retail climate, are looking for ways to increase our bottom line.
I'm glad I took the time to ponder and investigate Door Dash and their impact on local and state retail environments.

Sadly Door Dash was a major player and lobbyist for recent Colorado Legislation allowing wine sales in grocery stores in Colorado. This has significantly damaged small retailers and I would guess that Door Dash Corporate will continue its support of future alcohol legislation in our state.

Our focus will remain on connecting with our customers on a personal level and providing individual customer service that our clients appreciate and expect from our small business.

Please know we will not be partnering with Door Dash now or in the future.
