We are not like the other farms - we like to think that our guests step back in time a few years.... We offer something a little different than the other farms - no Fall season haunting themes, no electronic games, just clean old-fashioned outdoor family and group fun. All of our events are fundraisers for the Monks of Marmion Abbey. All proceeds from Abbey Farms enables the continuation of the v

arious ministries performed by the Monks, as well. Having been in the business of creating family traditions for more than 50 years, the monks pride themselves on providing good ol’ fashioned fun for the entire family. Abbey Farms is a non-profit farm run by and for the Monks of Marmion Abbey located in Aurora Illinois started back in 1949. Since the first Christmas tree was planted in 1949, Abbey Farms has transformed into a multi season family-oriented farm. Situated on over 300 acres of beautiful farmland, Abbey Farms is one of the oldest farms open to the public in the area. From monk-grown U-Cut and Precut Christmas trees to our over 8 acre corn maze - when it comes to old-fashioned family fun, we have it all!

Saturday May 30 is shaping up beautiful, and we're ready for you at Dog Daze. Bring the dog, bring the kids, bring an appetite.

But on July 11th, it is going to be filled with local vendors, handmade goods, unique finds, and Christmas spirit in the middle of summer. 🎄☀️

Our Christmas in July Arts & Crafts Show is the perfect opportunity for local makers, artists, and small businesses to get in front of a huge crowd at Abbey Farms.

Most people only see the finished Christmas tree.
They do not see the years of work that come before it. 🎄

Right now, we are out planting thousands of tree seedlings that will not be ready for harvest for another 7 to 8 years.

That is farming. Planning ahead. Trusting the process. Putting in the work today for families we may not even meet for years to come.

From Scotch pine to fir and spruce, the next generation of Abbey Farms Christmas trees is officially going into the ground.

Here’s the latest on our Dog Daze event happening May 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—all vendor and rescue spots are filled! We’ll have 50 vendors, 8 rescue agencies, and 8 informational and educational booths, plus plenty of fun for the whole family. Be sure to mark your calendars!

We still have vendor openings for our Honey Fest on June 27 and our Christmas in July Arts & Crafts Show on July 11.

Year five of Dog Days is almost here. 🐾
Saturday, May 30 from 10 to 3 at Abbey Farms. Bring your leashed best friend out for a day of live music on the patio, the full Activity Park (jumpy pillow, mega slide, combine slide, tire mountain), strawberry and pink lemonade slushies, food from the kitchen, and 47 vendors lining the cul-de-sac. Plus rescue agencies on site with puppies looking for their forever homes.
Just $5 to get in.
We're one of the only farms left that still welcomes leashed dogs on the grounds. Come help us keep the tradition going.
