CONCENTRATES = Less water in the product you’re paying for/smaller amount of packaging/less money in the end.
Foaming pumps for soap are reliant on a water-heavy ratio to pump properly. The thinner the liquid, the smaller and foamier the bubbles will be. This means that if you switch your regular pump to a foaming pump, you can then dilute your regular hand soap to 1 part soap, 5 parts water for the mechanism to work properly. That means the one bottle of soap you have can now be refilled SIX TIMES. You’re saving packaging, saving money, and still getting clean hands. Just call us the worst sales people ever.

No need to say, “No straw, please!” at places like this.. Have you been out for a bite to eat or a cold delicious drink and noticed the establishment has taken an extra step to be more eco conscious? It feels SO good when your fellow humans are also doing their part and spreading that loveyourplanet-love as easily as a lot of places still holding onto the more detrimental habits like single use disposables that will be sticking around on the earth long after we’re gone. One drink, one meal, one visit out with as little long-term impact as possible is the only way to go.

Alrighty! After a rollercoaster of a few weeks, our final stop is approaching for Edgewater and we hope to see all your beautiful faces over at our resilient, steadfast Stanley location after Jan 26th. It was a wild 5 years of ups and downs serving the west side of the city but it’s time to rightsize for the current economy and state of all things. We can’t wait to fill up all your goodies at our original location, PLUS we will be bringing in new and more fun things this year to keep this zero-waste movement going! Love to you all. ❤️❤️❤️

It’s time for me to pass the torch and I’m putting this out there as I know this store is loved very much by so many folks. If you’ve ever had a desire or spark to own and run a shop like this, here is your opportunity. A store built from the ground up and established in the community for 10 years now. Time is very limited and all offers welcomed as I would much rather see this beautiful thing continue.

It’s been a heckuva couple days… trees down everywhere and power has been out since last night at our Aurora location. Current status is around “10pm tonight or later” so we are closed until we hear differently. So sorry for the inconvenience and we hope everyone is staying safe out there. Our Edgewater location is open regular hours today so if you live closer to the west side of town come over and see us if you can get there safely. Will update when we hear more!

CLOSING AT 4:30 pm NOV 8: With all the school districts being closed and a lot of federal and state buildings also being shut down because of the weather, we are taking extra precautions to get our staff home safely today and will be closing at 4:30 PM. Please stay safe out there and don’t go anywhere if you don’t have to! See you tomorrow!

10/31: CLOSING AT 4PM .. Did you know that Halloween is the slowest day of the year for us?! We have learned this over the years. So, we are going to do what everyone else is doing and use this time to hand out zero waste candy to strangely dressed children and take the little ones out to strangers’ houses to beg for free sugar. Happy Halloween everyone!
