We’re looking for someone dependable, trustworthy, organized, and ready to become part of High Vibe.
Most shifts are worked alone, so you must be able to manage your time, stay productive, make good decisions, follow procedures, and take care of the store without constant supervision or reminders.
What we’re looking for:
• Dependable, on time, honest, and accountable
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to take initiative
• Fast learner who works well in a changing environment
• Good existing knowledge of cannabis and cannabinoids — we can teach the specifics of our products
• Prior retail or sales experience
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking with customers
• Able to identify customer needs, make recommendations, and naturally upsell and cross-sell when appropriate
• Able to accurately count back change without a calculator
• Comfortable handling cash and being responsible for your register and the store during your shift
• Able to follow opening, closing, cleaning, inventory, and cash-handling procedures
• Able to stand and remain active for shifts up to 8 hours
• Able to maintain confidentiality regarding customers and store operations
Because we’re a small business, every employee directly impacts the store. We need someone who takes ownership of their shift, treats customers well, follows through on responsibilities, and can be trusted to do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
Previous budtending, smoke shop, v**e shop, or cannabis-industry experience is a big plus and may qualify you for higher starting pay.
