🚔🍻 DEPUTIES SAY AUGUSTA MAN RISKED FELONY CHARGE FOR $24 CASE OF NATTY DADDY 🍻🚔

Authorities say a Tuesday beer delivery in Augusta took a strange turn when a man allegedly helped himself to a case of high-gravity lager straight from a distributor’s truck.

According to RCSO, Jeffery Major, 66, allegedly drove around Savin Haven convenience store on Mike Padgett Highway before pulling beside a beer delivery van around 12 p.m.

Workers were unloading beer into the store when deputies say Major jumped out, grabbed a case of Natty Daddy, and fled the scene.

If you’ve never experienced Natty Daddy, it’s basically Natural Light’s louder cousin — an 8% ABV lager known for being cheap, strong, and capable of making “I’ve got a great idea” become tomorrow’s police report.

The stolen beer was valued at $24.55.

Major was charged with entering auto to commit theft, a felony.
