Wanting to celebrate the National Tequila Day but not one for drinking it straight? Okay yeah, we’re picking up what you’re putting down.
Try these cocktail recipes below and let us know if these hit the spot for Nat’l Tequila Day
•
Watermelon Tequila Cooler (top)5 oz Suerté Blanco Tequila
1.5 oz Watermelon Juice5 oz Ancho Reyes Verde5 oz Lime Juice5 oz Simple Syrup
Tajín

Rim a glass with Tajín and set aside. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake to chill. Strain into the prepared glass over ice.
Garnish: Watermelon Slice

El Diablo (middle)
1.5 oz Suerte Reposado Tequila5 oz Crème de Cassis 5 oz Lime Juice
2–3 oz Fever Tree Ginger B**r

Combine all ingredients, except ginger b**r, and shake. Fine-strain into an ice-filled Collins glass, top with ginger b**r and garnish.
Garnish: Lime wedge and fresh blackberry or candied ginger (optional)

Cucumber Basil ‘Rita (bottom)
2 oz Suerte Blanco Tequila (or make it spicy with Los Sundays Jalapeño Tequila)
1.5 oz Fresh Cucumber Juice75 oz St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur 5 oz Lime juice
2 Basil Leaves

Add a basil leaf to a shaker and gently muddle it. Add the rest of the ingredients to the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into an iced rocks glass.
Garnish: Cucumber slice and basil leaf

Time for us to shamelessly plug some of our favorite peach options in store (can anyone think of any better time, truly?)

If it’s a peach cocktail you’re looking to make, Blended Family Liqueur bring together sweet and bitter orange peels with hints of honeysuckle
And from the gin aisle, the Jim Jam from Murrell’s Row is made with distilled marigold, elderflower, orange peel, juniper, and coriander
