New Event! Alpine Wine Tasting!
Alpine wines have been having a moment for a while now, and it makes a lot of sense. The mountains do something to wine that nowhere else can replicate: unmistakable freshness, more precise aromatics, a sense of place that’s hard to find anywhere else.
These are wines shaped by altitude, glacial soils, and centuries of mountain farming culture. On Thursday, June 11 at 8pm, we’ll be pouring 5 wines that are cooler than a polar bear’s toenails. Alpine Wines: From the Roof of Europe is an evening dedicated to the classic alpine regions—Savoie, Jura, Alto Adige, and beyond.
We’ll go deep: what makes these regions particularly special, the culture behind the wines, how altitude changes everything, and why alpine wines might be the most food-friendly bottles on the planet.
