Don’t you love it when a beverage tells you exactly what it should be paired with??? New beers are in stock from , and we were definitely intrigued by their Double IPA named Chicken Tendie Sub. At 9.5% abv, this Public Chicken Tender Sub namesake brew is packed full of flavor but in a muted sweetness that is easily approachable to the tune of perhaps even opening a second one to get you through the other half of your Chicken Tender Sub sandwich. Cheers to the long weekend! Looks like beer and sandwiches are on the menu!!! 🥪🍻🍗

Whiskey is an item we see a lot of, but new offerings can often get lost in the popularity of common products or allocations. But sometimes there are new offerings that catch our eye. Keeper’s Heart did just that. Blending Irish Whiskey and American Whiskey or Bourbon has made Keeper’s Heart a unique distillery that proven to be a unique and promising choice for your next whiskey option, but add on their new American Pot Still whiskey, which is a traditional Irish Whiskey made in an American Pot Still and aged in American Oak barrels, and we are ready to commit. Although all their whiskies are complex, this one is a smooth showing that packed full of vanilla and caramel notes that pop with toasted oakiness. These are all super unique options for the whiskey lover in your life…….or maybe just yourself 😉🥃

Wine Wednesday!!!! We’ve been eating our way through the Girl Scout Cookies (we were actually able to snag) and pairing wines with each type. Today is a delicious cookie that might be one the traditionalists won’t think to get, but they’d be missing out on….Exploremores!! These are Rocky Road inspired cookies with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond creme, so they are sweet, delicious, and kinda addictive. If you love their sweetness and don’t want to go any sweeter, we’re on the same page, so time to pair this cookie with a white port wine. The wine is sweet, with notes of citrus and aromatic floral tones, with a diminishing hint of almond before a crisp dry finish. It’s a sweet wine that doesn’t overtake your palate but one that can pair well with notes only this particular Girl Scout Cookie, but also would pair exceptionally well with nuts and cheeses! It’s a wine worth the try! Especially if doing so with some Exploremores!!!

It’s Cinco de Mayo!! It’s time for tacos and tequila!! Although, if you’re not a dining out type of person and you want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo the proper American way…..this is for you. Easy Cinco de Mayo Baja Blast spike drinks!!! And that means Taco Bell to go with it!! We started off easy with a Baja Blast Freeze mixed with 3 shots (yessss….3) of Silver Caachaça from . Although this spirit is native to Brazil, it goes so well with Baja Blast that it’s must mix in for that Freeze!! Pair that with a Crunchwrap Supreme and some Fire sauce and you’re good. The other option is the Baja Margarita. 2 oz of tequila (we snagged a pint of ), 1 oz lime juice, and 4-6 oz of Baja Blast…..just mix and sip baby!! It’s so good!! And it pairs excellently with the new Zabs Loaded Nacho Fries and a Cheezy Gordita Crunch!! Taco Bell and Baja Blast never tasted so good! And it’s the easiest way to fight the restaurant crowds for your own lil Cinco de Mayo celebration!!! Cheers! And I suppose Live Más! 🌮🪇🌯🍋‍🟩

Happy Thirsty Thursday everyone!! Finals are here for students and it’s coming up closer to graduation and townie summer!! In all the rainy days and slowdown that has already begun, we may just have the best one yet in our wine and Girl Scout cookies pairings!! We decided to try and find the best pairing for the yummiest cookie, the Samoa. After some pretty terrible pairs we found that Lambrusco is the way to go!!! If fact, has a delicious Lambrusco that is absolutely perfect with this coconut and chocolate delicacy. This light and refreshingly dry bubbly red is lightly acidic with beautiful notes of strawberry, raspberry, and light citrus. It is like adult soda 😜!! And boy does this pair well with the buttery shortbread coated in toasted coconut, caramel, and chocolate!! It’s a must try! We promise it’s the best!

It’s G-Day!! That means a spring tailgate!!! Come and get the goods that make your tailgate even more Dawgalicious!! We have that .spirits vodka and bourbon that are both a must for the tailgate spread!! And don’t forget the Dawg-walkers! Our little, El Arco dog walker ci**rs are perfect for tailgates and walking around town tonight for Twilight (bike race!). What a Sunday! The Master’s are finishing up, and it’s time to wine-d down. We’ve got a couple of new wines in that are sure to be a good choice for a chill Sunday afternoon (or any afternoon really). We have a couple of absolutely outstanding wines from . Their 2022 Terrane red wine is made from 100% Petite Pearl grapes make this wine a flavorful and bright wine tasting of berries, plums, and a slight touch of smoky mocha. Their 2022 Tectonic orange wine is a devilishly complex skin contact wine made of 100% La Crescent grapes. Its flavor profile layers tastes of juicy tart apricot and bergamot and with undertones of black tea. The acidity blends into the tannins present making this a refreshing find. If these sound good to you, then you’ll want to come and grab one before they’re gone. This Vermont vineyard is sure to produce some more interesting varieties and we sure do hope we can snag some more.

It’s Masters Week and with the tradition of what we Georgians know is the greatest tournament in golf, it’s time to snag you a beverage and head to the couch to sit and watch the players try and win that beautiful green jacket. We may be a little biased to our Georgia boys playing (Go Bubba Watson, Harris English, Brian Harman, Russell Henley, Sepp Straka, and Mason Howell!) but we are excited to see who comes away the winner and forever remembered for such an exciting feat! Best way to celebrate The Masters is by snagging some Georgia-based products! None better than Birdie Putt Italian-style Pilsner from !! Made just in time for The Masters, this beer is the perfect brew to sip while you watch the players try their luck in Amen Corner! We also heard it pairs excellently with an egg salad sandwich 😉🍻
