This past Memorial Day weekend was filled with family memories and time together. We were on Long Island for my eldest’s baseball tournament and took the kids on a whim to NYC yesterday. As a mom, I’m especially grateful for the freedom to raise my children, explore new places, and enjoy these moments with them.

These freedoms come at a cost and our family acknowledges this often (one weekend or one day simply isn’t enough). May we continue to remember and honor the brave men and women who have fallen so that we may live freely. 🙏🏽🇺🇸

If you work for a school or demanding work industry or have outreach to students and parents, collaborate with the Mental Health Collaborative. Abbie’s mission is to reduce stigma of mental health illness and struggles, and to provide support and resources. I spoke with her a few years ago and you can hear in her own voice her passion behind this undeniable necessary organization.

So happy to see the Boston Red Sox supporting!

NEW STAFF FAVORITE! USDA ORGANIC South Side Gin cocktail is the right amount of lemon and right amount of mint. It’s not sweet and it’s not bitter.

I’ve given up on gin cocktails several years ago (thanks to college 😂) I was pleasantly surprised by this cocktail and to encourage you all to try it we’re opening cans today!

Fun fact ☘️ My favorite beer is Guinness. When I’m out at any bar or restaurant and in the mood for a beer, GUINNESS Draught is my FIRST choice.

I’m usually met with lots of shock when friends discover this. There are so many “craftier” options on beer lists these days. Or they call Guinness “too heavy.” And they assume it has tons of calories. But a 12oz is only about 125 calories. More often than not, I’m a “one and done” drinker and drinking a Guinness is an experience for me. Rich and smooth, it truly pairs with anything and everything.
