Some of these bottles are down to the final few. Once they’re gone, that vintage is gone, and we move on.

So one thing we do at our tasting bars that I really love is keep the cheese local too.

We know exactly where the fruit in the glass came from. Who grew it, when it was picked, all of that. It would be kinda funny to care that much about the w**e and then throw some random cheese next to it.

So in Asheville we serve Looking Glass Creamery, and in Cedar Grove we’ve got Boxcarr. Both are our neighbors and just lovely folks too.

Local w**e. Local cheese. It just makes sense.

There are some really really cute little cake available today at Botanist & Barrel Tasting Bar + Bottle Shop Asheville by Gena Bakes! I didn't have time to try one or buy one because I had to do a food tour, but birthday season is coming up for my family, so I will reach out to Gena later!
