We are so excited to announce that “Trudy’s Catfish Cabin” is coming to the restaurant in Brunswick!!
Stephanie and Charles Turnage Jr. are the new owners! Although we have only known them for a few weeks, we have just fallen in love with them, their restaurant concept and their infectious energy!! We have had a sneak peek at their menu and we feel the community is going to love it. So we encourage everyone to come give them a try!! Opening date is March 1st 🎉

Everyone- We recently received a letter from an attorney's office representing our former tenant. This letter informed us that the former tenant had registered our store's name, "Brunswick General Store", with the Tennessee Department of State and that we were to no longer use the name on our building or in any other public venue. Our family has owned what has been known as the "Brunswick General Store" for many years. Our grandfather, Benjamin Norris Griffin, left the store to our Uncle, Vance Griffin, who in turn left it to our father, Sonny Griffin, who then left it to us, his daughters. We had no knowledge or ever dreamed that we should go register it with the State. So, therefore, with great sadness, we have lost it. We are creating a new page which we will share on here when we have it completed so everyone can continue to follow us as we enter a new era for our community and our store building.

Hello Folks.
As many of you may have noticed the store is closed at this time. The last tenant did not wish to renew the lease nor did he wish to sell the business to someone else.
We are excited about the possibilities ahead for the store and it's future. We have received many phone calls in response to the For Rent sign we placed in the window and hope to find someone who shares a vision much like ours and will be a true asset in our community. It is our hope to see it re-open in the very near future and our imaginations are overflowing with options ahead.
We Thank You All for patronage over the years and look forward to seeing you soon.

Here's a picture of the store as it was being built, can anyone tell what year that was?? A lot of changes have taken place in this building and it's looking really good. Lot's of good food too!!! Come check it out.
