Here is what we have going on today!!

1. Drawing at 3 pm. Will figure out all parameters when we see who shows up. Maybe we will have enough for everyone or at least most. What will we have then? Old Fitz 7yr ($54.99), Maker’s Mark Keepers Heart release, some of our Old Forester pick from this year (we ended up with a little extra), and some of our Buffalo Trace pick from this year. See you at 3pm for all of these.

2. As mentioned yesterday, we will do the drawing for those who purchased the Plantation Rum pick.

3. Also from yesterday and continuing today, get an extra ticket for every $10 spent on closeouts on the bar or in the cabinet.

4. Finally, we have the Green River Army 250th Anniversary bottle for $39.99 to all active/reserve/retired members of any of our armed forces. Thanks to all of you for your service!!

Picture for attention. Our Four Roses barrel should be here soon, but not in time for Father’s Day. So, what’s up for this weekend!!

Well, we will have a drawing tomorrow at 3pm. At minimum, it will include several Old Fitzgerald 7yr assuming they are on the truck. We will also draw from those who helped make our Plantation Rum pick disappear for the right to buy either a George T Stagg or Rip Van Winkle 10yr. There are 26 NULU left for the Pappy 15 drawing. We will then draw from all the NULU and Plantation tickets for the remaining bottle.

Want some extra tickets for Saturday? Buy any closeout on the bar or in the cabinets and Adam or Tony or Larry or Scott or Joel will give you an extra entry for every $10 spent. Tony isn’t here tomorrow so the drawing will be on Adam.

If you are active or retired from any of our Armed Forces, find Adam and he will sell you the Green River Army Anniversary bottle for $39.99 this weekend (including today).

Happy Wednesday!! Sorry for the second post of the day but some information and new items.

1. We have the Green River 250th Anniversary Army release! Here’s their press release. We’ve made a lot of great bourbon over the years, but this one stands for something bigger.

To mark the U.S. Army’s 250th Anniversary, we’ve partnered up to release the official commemorative bottle. Made proudly at Green River and bottled at an Army Strong 111.1 proof (a tribute to Veterans Day), this small batch release is our way of honoring the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of those who serve.

With notes of caramel, black cherry, cocoa, and peppermint, it’s a bold, full-bodied bourbon that stands tall on its own—and even taller for what it represents. A portion of proceeds is devoted to enhancing quality of life for soldiers and their families. It will be released on June 14, the official birthday of the Army which just so happens to also be National Bourbon Day and will be available across many markets throughout the coming year.

2. We have some closeouts. Jewel Osco Bourbon? Well, it’s inexpensive and Kentucky Straight so aged at least 2 years. And we have a 1.75 Liter of this blended whiskey called Madison Creek for under $10! Get them while they last! Of course, you can’t get your groceries here as well.

3. We have sold out of our Plantation pick so will draw from those who have purchased it for the right to choose to buy an Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr or George T Stagg bottle on Saturday. We have 26 bottles of NULU left to draw for the right to buy a Pappy 15. We will see if anything else appears for additional drawings/releases.

Photo for attention! Plus, this past Monday we did a Dancing Goat pick. They had a 10yr MGP Rye in a second fill of one of our Weller Full Proof pick barrels that was incredible!! That was an easy choice. We also did another Cocoa Bitter finished barrel (also 10yr Rye)…slightly less chocolate than our initial Cocoa Puffs but still delicious.

Now for today! We are running short staffed but will still have a quick 11:15am drawing today for some EHT Single Barrel and 1792 Sweet Wheat. Unfortunately the Bowman was short on the truck. Maybe a couple other items will be available too. See you at 11:15am today!

We have some more Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection! And it is a slightly lower price than before.

We will have an early drawing tomorrow before Adam has to leave. 11:15am for you early birds. What will we have? EH Taylor Single Barrel (not a pick), Bowman Cask Strength and 1792 Sweet Wheat. Maybe a couple more. We will see. We will draw from the general barrel as quickly as Adam can get it done. If you want some extra tickets, buy any closeout on the bar and show this to Adam or Tony. They will give you two tickets for every bottle purchased.

We also congratulate our friend Mr. Old Fo and his wife and daughter who have added twin girls to the family. We hear they are happy and healthy and look forward to seeing them when they get a little older. We tried to have them named Skittles or Brandy or Bailey but we think one is named after Kyle? Only she is much prettier!

A few things to tell you about today.

2. We received one bottle of this Springbank Local Barley. First come first served.

3. We have a great tequila closeout on Mayenda Blanco. $34.99 while it lasts!!

4. Don’t miss our Spirit Tasting on Saturday, June 21 from 1-4pm. 10-12 table of all kinds of spirits!! Just Be There!!

5. Our next Thirsty Third Thursday will be June 26th at 6pm with our friends Aaron and Mark and their YouTube channel AM Whiskey!! Some day they may even qualify to drink in the basement. Anyway, sign up now!!

6. Some barrel pick updates. We are down to 13 of our Plantation Rum pick (when we run out we draw for the right to buy a Van Winkle 10 or George T Stagg) and 29 of our NULU pick (running out means we draw for a Pappy 15). We are also down to 3 bottles of our Copper & Cask MGP Bourbon pick that was aged in Florida (the hi-rye Kentucky aged MGP version has about 20 bottles left).
