September is here! School has begun, football season is kicking off, and fall is right around the corner. It’s one of our favorite times of the year, and we’re starting the month with some huge deals, plenty of new arrivals, fall beer, allocated bottles, and another weekend of free tastings.

We’ve been bringing in plenty of new bottles lately, with some interesting finds across both reds and whites.

🍺 FALL BEER SEASON IS HERE!
Oktoberfests, pumpkin beers and other fall favorites are starting to fill the shelves.
New arrivals include Other Half Oh…toberfest, Guilford Hall Oktoberfest, Schlafly Pumpkin Ale, Hudson North Cider Donut, Forward Brewing Sean McQueen Double IPA, and Guilford Hall British Ale.
The Guilford Hall Oktoberfest was one of our best-selling fall beers last year, so we’re especially happy to have that one back!

The allocated shelf continues to get interesting! Current and recent arrivals include:

This time, we selected an Old Forester Single Barrel at Cask Strength, coming in at an impressive 132.5 proof.

🍹 SPIRIT OF THE WEEK: LICOR 43
This week’s featured spirit is Licor 43, the Spanish liqueur known for its combination of vanilla, citrus and warm spice.
Here are two simple ways to put it to work:
☕ Carajillo
1½ oz Licor 43
1½ oz espresso
Shake hard with ice and strain over fresh ice.
🥤 43 & Cola
1½ oz Licor 43
4–5 oz cola
Build over ice and garnish with an orange or lime wedge.
Licor 43 is also delicious added to coffee, paired with cream, or used to add a vanilla-citrus element to cocktails.
