A cigar for Día de los Mu***os. 💀

Rojas Ci**rs' Street Tacos line has a new limited edition called Mictlán. The name means "place of the dead" in Nahuatl, the underworld in Aztec belief, and Rojas calls it a tribute to Mexico's tradition of honoring those who have passed.

It's a 6 x 52 box-pressed toro: a dark Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with Nicaraguan and Connecticut broadleaf filler, made at Rojas' factory in Estelí. Rojas calls it medium to full-bodied. 1,500 boxes of 20.

Happy Halloween. What are you smoking tonight?

The Codfather. 🎣

This blend was made to honor Lure founder Lou Cross III's father on his 90th birthday. The ci**rs arrived too late for the party and were shared instead with family and friends at his dad's funeral. The response to them is what led Lou to start Lure Ci**rs in 2023.

Now it's Lure's first Connecticut shade: an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with aged Nicaraguan and Honduran filler, in a 6 1/2 x 54. Mild to medium, made at La Ta*****ia in Estelí, and just 4,000 ci**rs, in 10-count packs.

Lou's advice: "Smoke slowly, share stories, and make memories."

Who would you share one with?

Battleborn is back. 🎖️

Casa Carrillo's Battleborn was made to honor veterans. This year's version, Battleborn Heroes, also pays tribute to active military, police officers, firefighters and first responders. The project was inspired by Lionel McKoy, a U.S. Navy veteran of two decades who has been Casa Carrillo's shipping manager since 2017.

It's a new blend: a 6 x 52 toro with an African Cameroon wrapper, two binders (Dominican and Nicaraguan) and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, rolled at the Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic. 2,000 numbered boxes of 21, a nod to the 21-gun salute, each with a Battleborn dog tag. It's due to ship nationwide before Veterans Day.

Thank you to everyone who serves.
