"An errant logging truck" caused the Lake Erie Grocery to move in 1921 to a new spot. The Caulfields have been running the store since 1976.

This weekend has been incredibly non stop busy! In preparation for opening fishing at Lake Erie we are working on expanding our alcohol selection with spiked seltzer’s and ciders. We’re bringing back some seasonal favorites from last summer.

We carried these last summer in 19.2oz single cans and 12 can variety packs:
-San Juan Seltzer’s
-White Claw
-N**e Seltzer’s
Also the Winsome Cider 16oz, 4 pack cans and Incline Cider 19.2oz single can.

We are bringing them back and are carrying a few new items. If you come in 3+ times a week, please make a request of something we can carry to keep you coming back.

*We would like to announce new hours starting Monday April 5th. We will now be opening at 7am Monday through Friday. We hope to see the earlier crowd in for their coffee and breakfast pastry before work.

*We thank our customers for adjusting to our shortened hours this last winter and being patient during this hard time for our family. With fishing season and warm weather coming up in the next month we hope to be able to extend our hours further to accommodate for the evening crowd.

*If you come in 3+ times a week, feel free to come in to make a request. If there is a specific product that we can start to provide that would make you come in more often please let us know. Whether it be candy, soda, beer, ice cream, etcetera.

Monday-Thursday: 7am-7pm
Friday: 7am-8pm
Saturday: 9am-8pm
Sunday: 9am-7pm

SHOPLIFTER UPDATE 🚨
The teenage boy and his mother have come forward and apologized. We appreciate the amount of courage it took for them to do so. The incident has been taken care of. We are all going through incredibly hard and stressful times. I think everyone involved learned something, hopefully we can all move on and grow from this.
