Today, on International Firefighters Day, we honor the brave men and women who show up for us every single day. From fighting fires to answering emergency calls, firefighters serve with courage, heart, and selflessness. 🧯🚒🧑‍🚒

We’re especially proud to shout out Kylor Williams, Terrence Irwin, and Dannie Meza from Station 3 of the Amarillo Fire Department—loyal regulars at our Bell & Hyde location. Thank you for all you do—for Amarillo, and for all of us.

Heavenly Father,

We pause today with grateful hearts, recognizing the blessing it is to live, work, and serve in this great nation. Thank You for the freedoms we enjoy, and for the opportunity to gather in spirit—across communities, roles, and walks of life—to lift up our country in prayer.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for our nation’s leaders. Give them courage to lead with integrity, compassion, and humility. May their decisions reflect a desire for unity, peace, and justice.

We pray over our communities—from the smallest towns to the busiest streets. Strengthen the bonds between neighbors. Help us to look out for one another, to extend grace, and to be the hands and feet of Your love to those who need it most.

We lift up every customer that walks through our doors—may they feel seen, valued, and welcomed. And we pray especially for our employees—our Pak family. Bless them with health, strength, joy in their work, and peace in their homes. May they continue to lead with kindness and carry a spirit of excellence in all they do.

In the midst of uncertainty, help us stay rooted in faith. Let our actions reflect the values we hold dear: hard work, humility, service, and love. Remind us that even the smallest acts of goodness can leave a lasting impact.

🌟 Meet Samantha Olson, the third feature in our Meet Our Lubbock Managers series! 🌟
Sam’s Pak-A-Sak journey started 15 years ago when she first joined as a clerk at our Bell Street location. From day one, her willingness to jump in wherever needed—opening, closing, helping the team—set her apart. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things right have carried her through several locations and leadership roles over the years.

Today, Sam leads our team at Store #24 on South University in Lubbock, where she’s spent the past four years creating a store culture built on pride, consistency, and customer care all while helping to grow PAK brand recognition in Lubbock. Her steady leadership and heart for the job make her a standout not just in Lubbock, but across the entire Pak family.

We’re grateful for all Sam has brought to Pak-A-Sak, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! 💚 friends, be sure to stop in and say hi when you see her at Store #24!

We’re thrilled to celebrate something special at our Borger location! As of now, every single member of the team has been with PAK for at least 1 year! 🙌 (Missing 4 faces here.)

This kind of team retention is huge, especially in retail, and it’s a testament to the leadership of manager, Derek Thompson. His dedication has built a team that’s not only passionate about serving customers but also champions each other to make their store feel like more than just a store—it’s a place where people feel like family. 💚

While this kind of commitment is something we see PAK wide, the fact that it’s reflected in Borger’s team retention speaks volumes about the culture Derek has nurtured. We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and how they treat every customer with care.
