Join us for a fun afternoon of Kinusaiga Art at The Hex + The Hive!

Never heard of Kinusaiga? It’s a unique Japanese-inspired art technique that uses fabric tucked into foam to create beautiful, textured artwork — no sewing, painting, or artistic experience required!

With us taking pretty much the whole store to Applefest, we’re going to take this opportunity to reset the store! Our storefront will be closed this week, but we’ll still be working on orders while we rearrange.

With that, we’re VERY EXCITED for October and Halloween! We’ll be having a print party sometime with all spooky prints on the press and more exciting, Blick will be hosting a class to teach kinusaiga art on October 24th! So SAVE THE DATE and look for details on how to sign up being posted soon!!

Love you, Hive!🐝

Applefest shirts are ready to be picked up if you ordered one! I’ll take them with me to my table inside the community building as well! And the totes arrived!! They’re a bit darker than I thought they’d be… but I kind of love it! 😍

We’ll be closed tomorrow in Alma but will have lots of options at APPLEFEST! New designs and classics! Halloween, fall, funny, sporty, and of course, bees and skeletons!
