The 2026 State Games of America & Pennsylvania Senior Games are heading to Happy Valley from July 24 – August 2, and the tournament is open to table tennis players of all ages, genders, and skill levels!
Whether you play Singles, Doubles, or Mixed Doubles, this is your stage to compete.
🏓 Key Details to Know:
Table Tennis Tournament: Saturday, August 1st (State College, PA).
Extended Registration Deadline: You have until Friday, July 17th (tomorrow!) to lock in your spot. Don't wait—register now at keystonegames.org/pennsylvania-senior-games.
ALVaTTc Schedule Change: Please note that our club's open play for that week will be held on Thursday, July 30th (we will NOT have open play on Friday, July 31st).

🏓 PACK YOUR PADDLES: WE’RE HEADING TO THE KEYSTONE STATE GAMES! 🏓
ALVaTTc family, it’s time to take over the tables at Penn State College! Whether you want to bring your mate, partner up with a club buddy, or play singles, this is the big summer event you don't want to miss.
Best part? It’s non-USATT sanctioned, meaning players of ALL ages and skill levels are welcome to compete!
🗓️ Event Details:
When: Saturday, August 1st, 2026
Where: Penn State College (State College, PA)
Events: Singles, Doubles, & Mixed (Co-Ed) Doubles
🏆 Choose Your Segment:
1️⃣ PA Senior Games (Ages 50+ as of Dec 31, 2026)
Bonus: This is an official qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games! Open to out-of-state athletes too.
Entry Fee: $35 + $15 for each additional event (Limit 3)
2️⃣ Youth & Open Divisions (Ages Under 50)
Divisions: Youth (Under 18) | Open (18-29, 30-39, 40-49)
Entry Fee: $45 + $25 for each additional event (Limit 3)

CLOSED: Friday Club Play Night on July 31st is CANCELED.
OPEN: We will have a special Club Play Night on THURSDAY, July 30th INSTEAD! Use this night to get in some last-minute practice and a final equipment check.

Quick Rule Reminder: Leave the white shirts, white shorts, and white jackets at home (not permitted per game rules), and make sure your paddles are up to spec (no sandpaper, wood or sponge-only surfaces).

ALVaTTc encourages you to BRING a PARTNER and/or YOUR MATE for a full day of competition!
🗓️ Event Details
• Host: Keystone State Games
• When: Saturday, August 1st, 2026.
• Where: State College, Pennsylvania
• Format: Two competition segments. Matches non-sanctioned but utilize modified USA Table Tennis rules. (Full rules available via Keystone State Games contact).
This competition is NOT sanctioned by the USATT, and ALL AGES and ability levels are welcome to compete.

Keep the game fair and the tables moving! 🏓
We’ve put together a quick clarification on our Warm-up and Doubles play to ensure everyone gets the most out of their time at ALVaTTc. Whether you're a regular or just joining us, please take a moment to review these updated guidelines.
Key Highlights:
• Warm-ups: 5 minutes for your first match (plus a bonus for those who help with setup!) and 2 minutes for subsequent games.
• Doubles: Mandatory best-of-three games if a lone player is waiting—let's keep everyone involved!
• Table Limits: Play is limited to twice at the same table to keep the rotation fresh.
