Mom was discharged today to the Corning Center for what we hope is a short rehab period. She has come a long way and my sister has done a great job being an advocate for her. She can have visitors 9am - 8pm. She is room 236. Thanks to everyone for your continued prayers and thank you to those who sent flowers. You people are great!

Some of you know that my mom Joyce Lawson had some health setbacks last week and we wanted to give everyone an update. She had fell quite ill from what is now appearing to be an infection due to a tick bite. This caused her to become dehydrated and caused some cognitive issues. She was transported to the Robert Packer ICU where she spent all week getting her heart rate under control. Some issues with her heart were found that may be related or unrelated to the infection, and they are working to treat them. Today she was transferred to a regular room and no longer is in the ICU. Her progress is slow, but improving. They are now able to focus more on treating the infection and building back her strength.
