Elena was one of the cutest little visitors to Texas Star today! She is downtown attending the Children's Art & Literacy Festival, and she's loving her new hat she bought to keep her cool!
Come see us ... we're open until 5:30 Friday, and 10-4 Saturday. Cypress Street is closed for construction, but we're an easy walk from N. 2nd & Cedar.

Autographed copies of "The Spider Lady" by local author Penny Klostermann! You might have seen the story on KTAB-TV Wednesday night -- it's a fascinating story of how Penny found out about the woman who used spiders to help the World War II efforts.

Great review of “The Gunfighters” in The NYT book review section. Bryan Burrough has done a masterful job with his new book, and it will make a perfect gift for Dad! We have several copies, but don’t delay!

Parking is easy if you park near the library and make a short jaunt to our store!
