Common linnet is small songbird that belongs to the finch family. It can be found in Europe, West Asia and North-West Africa.
Scientific name of common linnet, «Carduelis cannabina», refers to the feeding habits of this bird and its affection for h**p (variety of cannabis). Common name «linnet» refers to fondness for flaxseed, that is used in the manufacture of linen.

This is my first common linnet. The bird is made to order. The size is about 13-14 cm. Materials - wool, clay, glass, threads and wire.
You can see more different birds in my profile. Welcome 🤗.

The Siberian jay (Perisoreus infaustus) is found in a large range in North Eurasia. It is a small species of jay with a gray-brown plumage and a dark brown head. The length of the Siberian jay range from 10.23-11.41 in (26–29 cm).

This group of jays are usually sedentary and do not move much from their habitats.

The habitat of the Siberian jay includes dense forests within lowlands and foothills. Dense forests help the species to conceal themself. The bird is very selective of its habitat needed for breeding and foraging.

These birds are aggressive towards intruders who are usually chased away. The most intriguing fact about these birds is that a pair takes in chicks of other pairs too when needed. This is quite different from other species of birds living in the world.

Pairs stay together and breed for life. An individual only searches for a new mate in the event of the demise of a partner. They are very territorial and guard their territories against intruders.

On average, the Siberian jay lives for around seven years. The longest recorded Siberian jay life span was however 13 years and was seen in Finland.

This bird species is a hoarder and is known as scatter hoarders as they usually distribute their food over a large area. To securely store food, Siberian jays have developed special saliva glands which they use to form sticky food clumps which they can adhere to beard moss or holes in tree bark where they are readily accessible throughout the winter.

The Siberian jay is made of wool. Materials - wool, beak made of clay, glass eyes, legs made of wire and thread.
I made this bird for the first time. It has already arrived to its new home and I got a good feedback from a customer 🥰.
