This Brut Nature cuvée from Maison Rémi Leroy is based on the same blend as the Extra-Brut, but with two differences: this one benefits from special bottle ageing, with each bottle corked to resuspend the lees, and extended ageing on laths.
This Brut Nature is made predominantly from Pinot Noir (70%), a third from Chardonnay (20%) and a touch of Meunier (10%). The grapes come from Meurville in the Côte des Bar.
The vineyard, which is around twenty years old, is situated on hillsides, but the special feature of the Meurville cru is the very poor clay-limestone soils with a shallow layer of soil. On such soils, where the vines naturally have to suffer to ensure their growth, the viticulture practised by Rémy produces remarkably distinctive fruit and juices. The fine, airy nose reveals notes of spices, white fruit and brioche. The palate is fresh, structured, balanced and creamy. The finish is taut and persistent.

This small domain in the heart of Menetou-Salon was created in 2003 by Laurence and Geraud de Farge. Laurence’s father Bernard was involved in setting up the Menetou-Salon appellation in 1959 and his passion for this land is obvious. Antoine, the son, is now the driving force behind this family-owned estate. With his ambition and skilful winemaking techniques, Antoine took over the land from his parents at Domaine de l’Ermitage in Menetou Salon and has developed a range of wines under his name, designed to showcase the grapes and appellations of the Eastern Loire.
This Menetou Salon displays a bright yellow colour with green reflections. The nose reveals fine notes of clementine, lime, gooseberry, wet stone and menthol aromas. The palate is balanced, with flavours of citrus fruits, herbs, sherbet and a silky texture leading to a lingering finish.

The legend of Ferrari began with a man, Giulio Ferrari, and his dream of creating a wine in Trentino capable of competing with the best French Champagnes.
He was a pioneer; he was the first to realize the extraordinary vocation of his area, and it was he who first made substantial plantings of Chardonnay in Italy.
He started to produce a few highly selected bottles, with an obsessive attention to quality.
As he had no children, Giulio Ferrari began looking for a successor to whom he could entrust his dream. Among many candidates he chose Bruno Lunelli, owner of a wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno Lunelli succeeded in increasing production without ever compromising on quality. The third generation of the Lunelli family is keeping the Ferrari dream alive.
Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro lead the company with the aim of combining innovation and tradition, taking Ferrari around the world as ambassadors of the Italian Art of Living.

One of the myths of Italian viticulture, straight from the Valpolicella wine region: Giuseppe Quintarelli, the great maestro of Amarone. His wines, rare and precious nectars, shine around the world and remain engraved in the memory of every wine-lover. The Quintarelli family has lived in Ceré, near the village of Negrar, since 1924. The estate was founded by Silvio after the First World War and then taken over by Giuseppe, known as Bepi, who died at the age of 84 in January 2012. Giuseppe’s vision, perfectionism and dedication left their mark on the destiny of this estate. His work lives on today through his children, who have taken up the torch and continue his obsession with excellence in making these divine wines. The estate comprises 12 hectares of vines planted on high hills north of Verona, in the province of Veneto. A wide variety of grape varieties are planted here.

According to the Delon family, Château Nénin is the epitome of a great Pomerol vin de garde. It combines power and elegance, complexity and balance, purity and refinement. The gradual increase in Cabernet Franc in the vineyard gives it tension, distinction and freshness. To appreciate the Grand Vin’s capacity for ageing, you need to be patient. Like all the great Pomerol wines, Château Nénin develops over time.
Fugue de Nénin was created and marketed in 1997. Fugue comes from the sandy the eastern half of the Château’s vineyard, as well as from young vines planted on the greatplanted on the great terroirs of the plateau. This second wine is a typical expression of Pomerol’s charm. Fugue is a reference to the world of music; It is a repetition of the main theme. This interpretation takes on its full meaning, Fugue is so in tune with the tones of its elder sibling that it offers an entertaining and seductive expression of the wine. The wines are round and silky and can be enjoyed faster than those of the Grand Vin.

The vineyards are located on the hills of the southern slopes of the Cévennes, overlooking the Mediterranean. It lies within the Faugères appellation area, the oldest in Languedoc-Roussillon. The climate in Faugères is typically Mediterranean. Summers are generally hot and very dry. From June to August, temperatures often rise above 30°C, averaging 29°C in the early afternoon. From June to September, apart from a few thunderstorms, it hardly rains most years. The vines, originally from the Middle East, thrive in this type of climate. The 370-million-year-old schist soil is one of the oldest viticultural soils in Europe, giving the wine a very mineral character.
Olivier Binet and Pierre Jacquet share a passion for authentic terroir wines. Driven by this vision, they embarked on their adventure in 1999 and created the estate from scratch.

The Hochar family’s philosophy of respect for the environment means that the 220 hectares of Musar vineyards are managed with minimal human interference and all the wines are made with minimal intervention.
Chateau Musar was the first producer in Lebanon to achieve organic certification for its own vineyards in 2006. Most are located in the Bekaa Valley, cradled between two mountain ranges running parallel to Lebanon’s Mediterranean coastline. Vines have been cultivated here for at least 6,000 years: the Phoenicians (seafaring ancestors of the modern Lebanese) were instrumental in bringing vines and wines from Byblos across to all of the areas around the Mediterranean.
Flanked by snow-covered mountains, and nestled at 1000m (3,000 feet) above sea level, the serenely beautiful Bekaa Valley is blessed with 300 days of sunshine a year, fresh mountain breezes and an average temperature of 25°C (encompassing snowy winters and hot summers). Remote and unspoilt, the Musar vineyards were ‘organic’ by default before the term was coined.
All the grapes are hand-harvested by local Bedouins between August and October.
In the winery, ambient yeasts do the work of fermentation. The bare minimum of sulphur is used and the Chateau Musar Red wines are neither fined nor filtered.
Chateau Musar also produces L’Arack de Musar, Lebanon’s purest aniseed flavoured spirit.

Planted in 1985 the Pegasus Bay vineyard is largely un-grafted producing ultra-low yields of grapes per vine with loose bunches and small berries. Tucked up under the lee of the Teviotdale Range, the vineyard gets maximum protection from the Pacific’s easterly breezes, while heat summation during the day is promoted by the smooth stones and gravels left behind by an ancient river bed washed down from the Southern Alps.
The soil is free draining and of low fertility, resulting in naturally reduced vine vigour. This produces optimally ripened, high quality, flavourful grapes, which fully express the qualities of this unique setting.
An extensive team of experienced vineyard staff allow operations such as shoot thinning, crop thinning, bunch exposure and fruit selection to be carried out meticulously. Vine age also plays an important role.
