Running a coffee shop has its moments ☕️
Most days, it’s great coffee, friendly faces, and customers enjoying their time with us. Other days… well, let’s just say you learn a lot about human behaviour.
Over the past few days we’ve had a little reminder that not every café is a co-working space, not every seat is an office, and not every customer understands that a shared environment works both ways.
We’ve had:
• The “I’ll just take one drink and stay all day” strategy
• The “can you turn the music down, I’m on a video call” request
• The “this sofa is now my office” mindset
• And of course, the classic “why are those noisy children in a café?” moment
Running a coffee shop isn’t just about serving coffee. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, whether that’s a quick stop, a relaxed catch-up, or a family enjoying time together.
The reality is simple:
A great café works when people respect the space, the staff, and each other.
The good news?
For every one challenging moment, there are dozens of great customers who make it all worthwhile.
So here’s to the families, the regulars, the coffee lovers, and the people who just get it ☕️
You’re the reason we do this every day.
