Want to stay off the highway because it is dangerousl to ride the shoulder? Take the reroute.
Need to get from the south side of Twin Lakes to the north side of Twin Lakes by sled (or vice versa)? Take the reroute.
PLEASE… take the reroute.

~Potent Clipper Wednesday Night-Thursday~

A strong clipper will bring accumulating snow to a large portion of the region Wednesday night and Thursday. A swath of plowable snow (3"+) is increasingly likely in much of the dark blue area with lighter accumulations further south and north. There is some uncertainty on the exact track and the track will be very important on amounts given the sharp cutoff on the northern side. Confidence in rather significant travel impacts is high (>80%) Wednesday night and Thursday. The first snowfall forecast will be released tomorrow.
