Founded in 2010, the rising star Bodegas Dominio del Águila is forging a new path through its incredible cuvées from the famous Ribera del Duero region of Spain. The architect of its meteoric rise is owner and winemaker Jorge Monzón, a former apprentice of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Vega Sicilia. Known for their staggeringly rich, bold and uncompromising wines, Dominio del Águila offers an altogether more elegant, restrained and highly terroir-focused interpretation of the region and its varietals. The pinnacle of Dominio del Águila’s red winemaking, the Dominio del Águila Reserva is made from some of the oldest vines in the village of La Aguilera, many over 100 years old. On the nose, the 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 Á𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 ($̶𝟭̶𝟯̶𝟲̶ $𝟭𝟭𝟮) is beautiful, perfumed and floral. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with fine-boned and very fine and chalky tannins. Fresh with terrific balance, and a long finish with a touch of liquorice and violets.

The Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé Troplong Mondot dominates the landscape – Château Troplong Mondot is located on some of the most enviable and unique terroirs of the Right Bank. Perched at the highest point of the appellation, its ‘terroir’ benefits from an exceptional 360° exposure and incomparable soil complexity. The vineyard has a natural heritage with longstanding biodiversity. Owing to its perfect balance, the wines reflect the estate’s riches and reveal an identity like no other. Opaque blue-purple, the 𝗖𝗵â𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟭 ($̶𝟮̶𝟭̶𝟵̶ $𝟭𝟲𝟵) exudes aromas of blueberry liqueur interwoven with black raspberries, blackberries, liquorice, camphor and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy tannins with a long, well-toasted finish.

Located in the heart of the Langhe hills, at the top of the village of Castiglione Falletto, Vietti wines are traditionally crafted by the Vietti family, with four generations of winemaking history. Today, the vineyards include some of the most highly prized terroirs within the Barolo and Barbaresco winegrowing areas, and are universally recognised as being one of the very finest Italian wine labels. The grapes of the Moscato d’Asti Cascinetta are sourced from small vineyards in Castiglione Tinella. Bright straw-yellow colour with slightly shimmering hints of gold, the 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗱’𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮 𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 ($̶𝟰̶𝟱̶ $𝟯𝟲) exudes intense aromas of peach, apricot, rose petals, acacia flowers and ginger. Sweet and delicate on the palate, with modest acidity, good balance and complexity. Hints of fresh apricot on the finish.

As one of the prestigious First Growths of Bordeaux, Château Mouton Rothschild is a luminary in the heart of Pauillac and has become one of the world's most famous wines. Located at one of the finest gravel beds in Pauillac, the Grand Plateau de Mouton, Mouton Rothschild crafts wines of unrivalled depth and complexity. Every year since 1945, the Château Mouton Rothschild label has been illustrated with an original artwork by a great contemporary artist. The 𝗖𝗵â𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱 ($̶𝟭̶𝟭̶𝟯̶𝟱̶ $𝟴𝟮𝟱) label is adorned with the illustration done by German visual artist, Gerhard Richter. The 2015 Mouton is the crème de la crème from the northern Médoc. Deep garnet-purple coloured, this Mouton is decadent with rich aromas of black cherries and plums with wet earth and sandalwood. Full-bodied, tight and closed with big, polished tannins, with seamless freshness and an epically long, earth-laced finish.

The winemaking philosophy behind Clos Apalta is to express Chile’s exceptional terroir through one of its signature varietals Carménère. A truly handcrafted wine, the Lapostolle team meticulously nurtures its vines and attends to every detail and the grapes are 100% hand-harvested and destemmed to preserve the fruit’s potential. Concentrated, complex and age-worthy, the result is a 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝-𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝 made in the Bordeaux tradition that continues to be an undisputed Chilean icon, with 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝟏𝟎𝟎-𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 to its name in under a decade.

Since 1912, the Osborn family has tended to McLaren Vale vineyards in South Australia. Today, fourth-generation winemaker Chester Osborn produces high-quality, distinctive wines with equally unique labels that have made d’Arenberg an Australian icon. It is rumoured that the inventor of the Stump Jump plough, which enabled a ploughshare to jump over tree roots, had poor eyesight and required regular tests to ensure he could still operate machinery. The design of this label is inspired by an optometrist's eye chart and serves as a makeshift sobriety test. If you can hold the bottle at arm's length and still read the front label, you can enjoy another glass. 𝗱’𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘇 ($̶𝟯̶𝟴̶ $𝟯𝟭) is rich yet velvety, opening with intricate flavours of blackberries and cherries, followed by wild strawberries and mulberries. Finely structured by polished tannins, with a mouthcoating and silky finish.

22/03/2025

First made in 2009, the Pastourelle de Clerc Milon is the ravishing second wine of Château Clerc Milon, a Bordeaux Fifth Growth. Pastourelle de Clerc Milon comes from the same terroirs as its senior and is a more approachable wine, built on freshness, fruit and succulence while still asserting its Pauillac origins. The wine’s name is reminiscent of Château Clerc Milon and its dancers. Pastourelle was a style of sung poetry in the Middle Ages and is also the name of a dance figure, originally a quadrille. Reddish purple colour with a deeper violet tint, 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟮 ($̶𝟵̶𝟯̶ $𝟴𝟮) reveals great refinement and complexity on the nose. Black cherry and vanilla aromas give way to deeper, smoky peaty notes, along with blond to***co and dried flowers. A refined palette with a lush and creamy attack expands over the well-integrated tannins. A flavourful and fresh finish displays dark chocolate, saline and mineral notes.

The Raquillet estate lies in the Mercurey appellation in the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy. Coming from a long ancestry of 11 generations of father-to-son winegrowers, François Raquillet started working the vineyard with his father in 1984 and took over the estate in 1990 with his wife, Emmanuelle. Since then, he has made significant changes to the winemaking philosophy by reducing yields and introducing premium quality barrels, offering a diversified range of white and red wines. The 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 ($̶𝟵̶𝟰̶ $𝟳𝟵) displays impressive depth and concentration with plum and currant fruit, cigar leaf and smoke notes with a charmingly rustic edge. With dense texture, firm tannins and a long finish, this is a pleasurable wine that can be enjoyed from its first few years.

An oenological gem that pays tribute to the strength and courage of women, As Bravas is a new project by the renowned duo of Alejandro Vigil, Chief Winemaker of Catena Zapata, and Adrianna Catena, the youngest daughter of Nicolás Catena Zapata. With their keen vision to unlock the potential of Mendoza's high-altitude, nuanced terroir, the pair turned their attention to Malbec after the tremendous success of their Gran Enemigo range which focuses on Cabernet Franc. El Enemigo was catapulted to superstardom after receiving a perfect 100 points from The Wine Advocate with the Gran Enemigo Gualtallary 2013 and their exceptional portfolio has garnered a cult-like following among wine collectors.

Dark purple colour with a garnet sheen, 𝗘𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗼 𝗔𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗰 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲 ($̶𝟭̶𝟴̶𝟰̶ $𝟭𝟱𝟱) unveils herbal notes of thyme, grape flowers and a blend of pepper and figs, all set against a cedar backdrop. Dry and elegantly restrained, the palate boasts a pronounced and brisk acidity that gives way to a vibrant and agile progression, culminating in a long-lasting herbal finish.

Established in 1885, Domaine Roux Père & Fils is a family-owned estate located in the village of Saint-Aubin within Burgundy’s Côte d’Or region. Over several generations, the Roux family has expanded their vineyard holdings and refined their winemaking techniques, earning a reputation for producing wines that authentically express the diverse terroirs of Burgundy. The Puligny-Montrachet appellation is renowned for its limestone-rich soils and favourable microclimate, ideal for cultivating Chardonnay grapes. 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘅 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗲 & 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘆-𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 ($̶𝟭̶𝟳̶𝟯̶ $𝟭𝟯𝟯) combines well-defined character and remarkable concentration, with a bouquet that brings together hawthorn blossoms, ripe grapes, marzipan, hazelnut, amber, lemongrass and green apple. On the palate, it exhibits a subtle harmony between body and bouquet, with good acidity and richness.

The highly anticipated debut of the legendary Latour 2016 and its second wine Les Forts de Latour 2019 has arrived. This monumental release is a masterpiece from one of the finest Bordeaux vintages of the century, with resounding critical acclaim and excellent provenance.

Latour has, in many ways, always been the most forward-thinking and disruptive First Growth, revered the world over for its inimitable style. With 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝟕 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 under its belt, the 2016 vintage is a phenomenal showcase of its dominance. As Neal Martin attests, “this is 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫. The 2016 can be uttered in the same breath as the 1900, 1924, 1959, 1961, 1982 and 2010. Magnificent.” Besides praising the wine, Jane Anson comments, “smart timing of this release, a vintage that underlines without question just why Latour is so revered, and why there is a clear logic to holding it back at the estate for almost a decade, allowing the first part of its ageing cycle to take place under fully controlled conditions.” A blend of 92.9% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7.1% Merlot, Latour’s Grand Vin exhibits 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲.
