Esta añada marca el regreso de Château Haut Roc Blanquant como la tercera etiqueta oficial de Château Bélair-Monange, propiedad de la familia Moueix. Es una cuvée cuidadosamente elaborada a partir de viñas ubicadas en laderas calcáreas y zonas bajas del famoso plateau de Saint-Émilion.

El 2016 representa su primera vinificación completa bajo la dirección técnica del equipo de Bélair-Monange, y ya muestra un perfil refinado y lleno de carácter.
• Composición: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
• Producción limitada: Solo 500 cajas de 6 botellas
• Perfil: Aromas de ciruela madura, violetas, grafito y especias sutiles. En boca es elegante, con taninos pulidos, una mineralidad marcada y un final largo y armonioso.

• Envejecimiento: 16 meses en barricas de roble francés usadas

Brigitte Beaufort elabora solo 6,000 botellas al año repartidas en 8 etiquetas, todas Grand Cru Millésime y añejadas 7 años en bodega antes de salir al mercado.

A pesar de que su viñedo tiene capacidad para producir 40,000 botellas anuales, solo se seleccionan las mejores uvas para mantener la más alta calidad.

De estas 6,000 botellas, solo 480 llegan a EE.UU., y a Puerto Rico entre 48 y 60 botellas.

Ulysses 2018

Nos llegó el último cargamento de la añada 2018. Se compró todo y se consolidó lo que había en los almacenes de NJ y CA. Esta añada se une a las añadas 12, 13, y 14 como oficialmente sold out. El 2018 es como si hubieran mezclado la añada 2013 con la 2015 y más poderoso. Un vino que va a durar décadas. Aprovechen que esta es la última vez que llega a PR.
