Carmen Copper Corporation has announced that it will open two tainter gates of the Malubog Dam in Toledo City at 1 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025, following the continuous rains brought by Typhoon Tino.

According to the company’s advisory posted on Toledo City Public Information Office's page, the rains have caused a rapid rise in the dam’s water level. As a precaution, tainter gates 1 and 2 will each be opened by two inches to regulate the flow of water.

Residents of Buswang, Cambang-ug, and those living along the Hinulawan River are advised to stay alert and avoid crossing the river during this time.

Authorities remind everyone to remain vigilant for possible changes in the river’s water level. | via JJL

DAYGON TABOGON DONATION DRIVE UPDATE! (October 3, 2025)

On behalf of the Taboganon community, we extend our deepest gratitude to our donors and volunteers for making another day of our donation drive possible.

As of now, our volunteers are on their way north to deliver goods to parts of Borbon and Managase that are in urgent need of help.

To avoid heavy traffic this weekend and allow space for those on their day off, the next delivery of goods will resume on Monday.

We are still accepting donations and are open for volunteers. For monetary donations, our channels remain the same. For in-kind donations, you may message us directly. Rest assured, your help will reach those who need it most. We will keep you updated. Maraming salamat po, and may God bless you abundantly!
