In 2025, the Philippines imported approximately $51 million worth of wine, reflecting a continued modest decline of about 4% from the previous year’s $53 million. Wine imports now account for roughly 0.03% of the country’s total import value. The leading sources of wine imports remain the USA (22.5%), France (19%), and Australia (18.7%), along with contributions from other key exporters.

Despite the slight dip in import value, the wine market in the Philippines continues to show strong growth potential. It is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.4% through 2030, fueled by a growing culture of social dining, increasing interest in sparkling and specialty wines, and its rising status as a lifestyle and luxury product among the expanding middle class.
