Even Chatgpt refuses to depict the actual depiction of Jesus Christ on the Cross, saying it's TOO BRUTAL, GORE AND GRAPHIC for social media.
An American research paper cites the brutal account of the death of Jesus Christ.
It describes how Jesus endured severe scourging, resulting in massive blood loss and hypovolemic shock even before reaching the cross.
It explains that crucifixion was designed to kill slowly, through exhaustion and asphyxiation—where every breath required pushing up against nails driven through His wrists and feet.
The study also explains the moment when“blood and water” flowed from His side, aligning with fluid from the lungs and heart—consistent with extreme trauma and death.
This was not symbolic suffering.
It was physical.
It was intentional.
It was real.
But wait—take a pause. He was fully human in this experience. Imagine the emotional and mental trauma He had to endure too. The mocking, the intentional humiliation, the rejection, the betrayal.
He could've called just one angel and all of those Romans could've been dead. But He didn't choose the easy way out.
He felt the weight of it all, He chose to stay.
Not because it was easy,
but because of love.
And He endured it fully.
Not because He had to
but because He chose to.
Because He loves you and He loves me. His brutal death PAVED THE WAY FOR GRACE. We can only come to the Father because of Him. Jesus paid it all. He didn't have to but still chose to.
Don't let this Holy Week be for nothing, if all you think of are vacations, binignit, the kakanins, being comfortable and rested YOU HAVE COMPLETELY MISSED THE POINT.
You can have religion and religious practices and still MISS THE POINT, it's JESUS CHRIST.
If you don't have a relationship with Jesus yet, it's not too late yet but also don't take too long... Time is running out. May you start choosing to LIVE for and with Jesus Christ. 🙇
