This is a sad day for the family and those who know Abuh' Ambalang Ausalin, one of our National Living Treasures in Basilan. She was known with her prowess & mastery in weaving "Tennun" Yakan Cloth- a tapestry of beauty and preserved culture.

More than being a famous weaver, she was a mother, grandmother, and relative who cared so much with her kin.

Abuh' Ambalang is a relative of Hja. Halimah-to which this page is dedicated. May ALLAH swt have mercy on them and grant them the Highest level of Jannah. Ameen.
