COTO DE IMAZ GRAN RESERVA
Brilliant ruby color, with russet tones. Mature and elegant, its aromatic richness is changing and subtle, becoming more apparent as the wine breathes. Notes of toast and coconut followed by tertiary aromas (leather, wet earth), and red fruit and dried fruit. Round, silky tannins, persistent and complex aftertaste.

Dominio Fournier Crianza 2020

A red wine from Ribera del Duero that is aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. It is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes and is known for its elegant structure and well-balanced flavor profile.

Nonetheless, the label and bottle of the 2023 Protea Dry Rosé certainly captivates the eye for it may possibly be the most beautiful wine presentation anywhere. Moreover, the 2023 Protea Dry Rosé is equally beautiful and simply delicious. This diverse blend (61% Cinsault, 12% Grenache, 11% Mourvèdre, 6% Carignan, 4% Malbec, 4% Shiraz, 2% Cabernet Franc) glows like the Mediterranean sun with an eye-catching coral and rose color. Better still, it offers a seductive olfactory redolent with the scents of raspberry, strawberry, and ripe red cherries, but that’s not all. In the mouth, this juicy dry rosé’s aromatic fruit flavors re-emerge with the added zest of tangerine and lime. The 2023 Protea Dry Rosé is crisp and pleasantly dry straight through to the finish. With that said, the label on Protea’s 2022 Chenin Blanc certainly caught our attention for its beauty. Moreover, it made a fine introduction to Protea’s pure, simply beautiful Chenin Blanc. The 2022 Protea Chenin Blanc offers a fresh, in your face, fruit driven nose, which made us want to dive right in. A delightful mélange of apricot, nectarine, and quince immediately greet the nose. In the mouth, the wine’s aromatic fruit flavors re-emerge with added touches of grapefruit and lime. A hint of dried honey lends texture to the wine’s succulent fruit, while vibrant acidity makes this dry Chenin Blanc dazzle straight through to the finish. So refreshing and fun to drink, we found it hard to put this wine down. Enjoy the 2022 Protea Chenin Blanc now and often with a moderate chill (40°-45° F). Anticipated maturity: 2023-2026.
