Earlier this year, my husband and I were looking for a community that would help strengthen our faith. We also wanted our son, Lucas, to grow up knowing Him—to learn how to pray, read the Bible, and build a personal relationship with the Lord.
Lucas was baptized as a Christian, and throughout the years, we tried attending different churches. But somehow, we always found ourselves coming back to the Catholic faith. Maybe because deep inside, we knew that this was where we truly belonged.
Then last March, we discovered The Feast.
To be honest, hesitant pa kami noong una.
After that experience, we knew we wanted to keep attending. Pero dahil medyo malayo sa bahay, we started looking for the nearest Feast community.
That's when we found The Feast Dasmariñas.
And on our very first day there, my husband and I felt the exact same thing: parang nakauwi kami.
We felt so welcomed.
😅 We make sure to free up our Sundays because we know how much it nourishes our hearts and souls.
More than anything, we've become stronger—not just physically, but spiritually.
There was a time when anxiety consumed us. We constantly worried about tomorrow. Paano kami?
But now, there's so much peace.
We've learned to surrender everything to God while still doing our best every single day. We seek His guidance in every decision we make—for our family, our work, and our business.
Even the conversations between me and my husband have changed. We dream bigger now—not just for ourselves, but for the people around us. We see our struggles differently. We see them through the eyes of faith, hope, and purpose.
Looking back, we thought we were searching for a community.
But what God was really doing was leading us back home to Him. 🤍
If you're in a season of searching, praying, or feeling lost, maybe this is your reminder: God knows exactly where to find you. Sometimes, all it takes is one "yes" to discover the peace you've been praying for all along.
Thank You, Lord, for leading our family to a place where our faith continues to grow.
