Today is World Mangrove Day 🌿

We remember Bahandi sa Kabakhawan — an educational art project and exhibition dedicated to the protection of mangrove forests in Negros Oriental.

Through the participation of local artists, this project helped raise awareness about the importance of mangroves — vital ecosystems that protect our coastlines, support marine life, and sustain local communities.

As part of the project, we also created free educational posters about Philippine mangroves, available for schools, educators, and anyone interested in learning more:

Thank you to all participating artists, partners, and supporters who helped bring this project to life. Let us continue to celebrate and protect our mangrove forests. 💚
