Makulay na Paggunita sa ASEAN-UNESCO at UNITED NATIONS ng Cawayan Integrated School-Secondary

Isang masiglang pagtitipon ang nagdulot ng kasiyahan at pagkakaisa ang naganap sa CIS-Secondary noong Oktobre 10, 2025, ipinagdiriwang ng paaralan at KATAP, ang ASEAN-UNESCO at United Nations, na may temang: "Asean 2025: Inclusivity and Sustainability."
Sa araw na yun ang lahat ay nakilahok, hindi alintana ang init ng panahon. Ang selebrasyong ay sinimulan ng 7:30 nang umaga, mula sa Cawayan covered court hanggang paaralan, upang itampok ang parada ng mga kasuotan ng iba't ibang bansa sa mundo. Kabilang dito ang mga mag-aaral at mga g**o sa kaniya-kaniyang kasuotan.

Pagdating naman sa paaralan ay agad na sinimulan ang palatuntunan ng magkahalong init at pagod subalit ang lahat ay masaya. Pagkatapos nito ay nagsiupuan na ang lahat. Pinangunahan naman ni Crystal Jade Valenzuela ang pagsasalita sa entablado na siyang emcee ng pagdiriwang.

Sa pag umpisa ng programa inanyayahan niya si Gng. Glenda T. Gama, g**o sa Values Education, upang pangunahan ang pagdarasal. Sumunod naman, ay si ginoong Ronelo M. Cardenas, upang pangunahan ang pambansang awit. Kasunod pa nito ay pagbabahagi ng pambungad na pananalita ni Ginoong Ronald I. Galit, Head Teacher ng paaralan. Nagbahagi din ng mahalagang mensahe si Gng. Hannah E. Surio, ang koordeneytor sa Araling Panlipunan. Nang matapos ay sinundan naman ito ng masiglang pagtatanghal ng CPAG. Kasunod naman ay ang pagpili ng mga itinanghal na magagandang kasuotan na pinangunahan ng isa sa mga hurado na si Bb. Mary Janne G. Cong-ay, ipinaliwanag niya ang kriterya o paraan ng pag pili ng mga mananalo, at ang mga piling mag-aaral na nanalo ay ang mga sumusunod:
Mr. United Nations ay si Jaysian R. Rebadulla, at Mrs. United Nations naman ay si Alianna Estremera. Sa kategorya naman ng mga g**o, ang pinarangalan bilang Mr. United Nations ay si Ginoong Edison G. Adlawan, at para naman sa Mrs. United Nations ay si Gng. Analene E. Oray. Pagdating naman sa kategorya ng LGBTQ nakatanggap naman ng parangal ay si Andrew Macailao.
Pagkatapos ng pagpaparangal, inanunsiyo ni Gng. Nelfa O. Canoza na batay sa dami naman ng partisipasyon, ang nanalo ay ang baitang 8, siya an nagbahagi rin ng importanteng mensahe sa kahalagahan ng UNESCO-ASIAN at United Nations sa pagpapatupad ng peace at order sa mundo, pati na din ng Inclusivity at Sustainability.
Sa ikalawang bahagi ng programa ay binanggit ni Bb. Karen Moreno, na ang mga patimpalak ay isasagawa sa mga piling seksyon ng paaralan. Ang mga patimpalak na gagawin ay: Ang quiz bee, Poster making, at Essay writing. Ang mga nanalo sa patimpalak na UNESCO-ASIAN quiz bee ay sina Mica Jane Q. Rominez, Mark Reno Lomocso at Jammie de Asis.
Dahil nga sa biglaan na pag-lindol hindi lahat ng patimpalak ay natapos at ipagpapatuloy na lamang sa Lunes, Oktubre 13, 2025.
Bagama't naantala ang pagdiriwang, likas naman na naisapuso ng mga mag-aaral ang pagbibigay-pugay sa pagkakaisa at kooperasyon ng mga bansa sa pagtugon sa mga pandaigdigang hamon at isyu sa pamamagitan ng selebrasyon.

Cawayan Integrated School- Secondary Celebrates 3 in 1 Affair: Induction, Acquintance Party and World Teachers' Day

CIS-Secondary Induction, Acquintance Party and World Teachers' Day Celebration, was
held in one event, with the theme Year of 2000's "Y2K" the program commenced last October 2, 2025 at Barangay Cawayan, Covered Court.

The event started with a heartwarming prayer that was led by Hazel Q. Abayon, SSLG P.I.O followed by the singing of the Narional Anthem which was conducted by Andrew Javier Macailao, SSLG G9 Representative and the division hymn which was conducted Francewena Ching SSLG Secretary.
To open the first part of the program, Mr. Mark Deverson Delegenio, SSLG Adviser shared his heartwarming welcome, afterwhich the induction of the SSLG officers Classroom officers, Club Officers like The Golden Journ, YES-O, KATAP, SAMAFIL, CIPAG, Values Education, TLE, English, Science and Math followed, after a short while, the students enjoyed their lunch together with their advisers and teachers.
The program continued by honoring teachers for their persevance and dedication in providing the best education for the students, their efforts had been well recognized through songs, messages, gifts and tokens, afterwhich Mrs. Vina A. Romance, school head, had shared her inspiring message in her closing remarks.
The third part of the program was filled with loud cheers of excitement as fun games and dance craze had been presented by every section.
One of the highlight of the event is the search for Most Popular Student and the best Y2k Costume, everyone gathered and made efforts to vote for their schoolmates, the day ended with the awarding of winners for the search and dance presentations and words of Gratitude from the SSLG Adviser Mr. Mark D. Delegenio and SSLG officers who spearheaded the fun and memorable occasion.

Please be guided, be alert, and stay dry and safe Cawayanistas 💚💚💚

From the recent weather forecast of PAGASA, will continue to cause heavy rainfall in the province on Friday.

To prioritize the safety of everyone, I further suspend the classes in public and private schools at all levels and work in government offices tomorrow, September 26, 2025, except for those involved in essential services such as emergency response, health functions, and other critical operations for public safety and support.

The suspension of work in the private sector is up to the individual employers but I encourage to prioritize the safety of the employees during this time.

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is coordinating all the necessary actions for our current situation and will continue to monitor the weather.

Stay safe, stay alert, and follow our official social media channels for further announcements and guidance.

Keep safe everyone 🙏

To ensure the safety of our students, I am ordering the cancellation of classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Northern Samar for tomorrow, September 25, 2025.

As Northern Samar is expected to experience intense to torrential rainfall from Severe Tropical Storm Opong, the class suspension was recommended by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council following our meeting this afternoon.

In Photos:|| CIS-Secondary Stakeholders Night 2025

A famous adage states that the Stakeholders' support is the backbone of a successful school community, these two institutions are inseparable and are partners in providing and building
resources and opportunities for the betterment of the school as well as the lives of the students.
Every year The Stakeholders Night is organized by the School General Parent Teacher Association, Homeroom Parents Teachers Association and the Faculty and Staff of CIS-Secondary Department.
Last September 19 2025, at 8: 00 in the evening, a simple program had commemorated, the event started with a Prayer that was led by Mrs. Nelfa D. Canoza, Master Teacher III, and it was followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Mr. Melvin S. Comedia, SPTA President had welcomed everyone in his opening remarks, afterwhich the induction of the Grade level HRPTA officers followed, Ms. Mary Janne G. Cong-ay, Master Teacher I, inducted the Grade 7 HRPTA officers, while Mrs. Marivic T. Tenedero, Master Teacher II inducted the Grade 8 HRPTA officers.
To share their skills and talents, the CIPAG members had rendered medley songs of The Carpenters as well as hip-hop dance to keep everyone entertained.
The event continued with the induction of the Grade 9 and 10 HRPTA officers, Mrs. Cleofe P. Roberto, Master Teacher III and Mrs. Nelfa D. Canoza, Master Teacher III served as the inducting officers.
Afterwhich the Induction of SPTA officers and of Grade level PTA Council of Representative Officers (GrPTACor) followed as it had been led by Hon. Lope Dorado Jr., Board Member-1st District.
Hon. Dorado also shared his message on how stakeholders night plays a vital role in securing a great partnership between schools and its community, as he said " An Stakeholders Night an sayu na pamaagi na nagpapakita san suporta ngan pagkasarayo san Eskwelahan, mga kag-anak ngan kumunidad, ine nga pamaagi naghahatag sin maupay nga opurtunidad ngan kinabuhi para sa mga estudyante."
Hon. Dorado didn't only emphasized the importance of working together, but also he supported the school project, as he pledge and donated financially for the repairs of the makeshift rooms in CIS-Secondary.
One of the highlight of the event is the Search for the Most Popular Parents 2025, wherein parents candidates from every section had their Curacha interpretation, afterwhich the coronation ceremony of the winners and the royale March and Dance had graced the evening affair.
The teachers had also shared their gratitude in their homage and to wrapped up the program,
an acknowledgement had been given by the school Principal Mrs. Vina A. Romance thanking the SPTA Coordinator Mrs. Salvacion M. Broniola, Hon. Danny T. Balading, who had been the master of ceremony, Hon. Lope Dorado Jr., Hon. Buenaventura F. Galit Jr., Captain of Barangay Cawayan, SPTA Officers, stakeholders, parents, teachers and visitors who contributed a lot in the success of the event.
