CIS-Secondary Participates in the 2025 Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

The school held its second quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today, June 20, 2025, Friday, at exactly 4: 00 o'clock in the afternoon.
Both the grade 9 and grade 10 students as well as their teachers performed the duck, cover and hold, afterwhich the students were assisted to the evacuation area wherein a short orientation about the basics of the drill and safety measures had been discussed by the school DRRM Coordinator Mr. Edison G. Adlawan.
The drill aimed to raise awareness and preparedness among students, faculty and staffs as well as practice and reinforced safety procedures during emergencies.

Today is a celebration of unity and collaboration, as the school and community showcased its bayanihan spirit through the Brigada Eskwela Kick-off and Enrollment.
The event started with a prayer that was followed by the singing of National anthem, a welcome remarks had been given by Mrs. Nelfa D. Canoza, Guidance designate of the school. An inspirational message that was aligned with the Brigada eskwela theme: "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa" had been shared by Dr. Brenda E. Villadolid, Catarman IV District Supervisor, afterwhich the presentation of the different working committees had been given by one of the Department Heads, Mr. Jerome G. Cong-ay. A meaningful closing remarks about cooperation and support had been shared by the school head Mrs. Vina A. Romance.
After the program students, parents and stakeholders helped clean the sorroundings and classrooms before they had enrolled their students in their specific grade levels.
