🌿✨ LPU Laguna’s ISRO Visits DOST-FPRDI: Discovering Innovation in Forest Products! 🎓🌱

The Institutional Social Responsibility Office (ISRO) of Lyceum of the Philippines University - Laguna recently visited the DOST-Forest Products Research and Development Institute (FPRDI) at UPLB to explore how local communities creatively transform forest resources into sustainable products. 💚

During the visit, the team learned how materials like pandan are used to craft eco-friendly items—from traditional woven goods to modern furniture—showcasing the synergy between heritage, science, and sustainability. 🧺🌿

This meaningful engagement gave ISRO valuable insights into how community-driven innovation can support both livelihoods and environmental stewardship. The visit also coincided with the Lalang Pandan Exhibit, part of FPRDI’s 68th Anniversary celebration. 🎉
