It is okay to rest.

Some may think it is laziness, but to God who sees your heart, it is a beautiful expression of trust,

and of obedience- because you honor the rhythm He designed for you.

We live in a world that glorifies being strong all the time. But God never asked you to carry it all alone. He doesn’t just meet you in your strong core but He is with you in the pause and in your weakest too.

“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.”
Isaiah 30:15

There is strength and blessing in choosing rest. You are just human. He knows you get tired too and that is okay. As you lean into who He is and not on what you can do, He refreshes you and gives you strength.

To you who feels tired, this is what He tells you:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28

Rest is a gift for you, from Him.

Remember, You don’t need to be everything to everyone. You don’t need to prove that you are strong by not resting. And you don’t have to hold it all together.

Because you are not the Savior-

He is.
