💚FRESH HOP SHOWCASE ‘25 💚

For the 3rd year running we’re delighted to bring you the Monkfish ‘One Stop Hop Shop!’

Join us on Sunday April 13th from midday, where for the first time we’ll have seating and tunes in our little adjoining lane way.

We’ve selected breweries from all over the country using a wide variety of fresh hops, across several styles, to show the full range of this year’s fabulous harvest.

Many thanks to all our brewers involved. We can’t wait to tap ‘em!

FRESH HOP SEASON IS UPON US

Pouring from 3pm today we have our first fresh hop beer of the season and we have started with a bang!

loaded with fresh Riwaka and Motueka hops from Clayton Hops is a certified banger of a Bright IPA.

This beer is a mere 2 days old and you can get your hands on it from us before it’s general release on March 31st.

Don’t hesitate, fresh is best!

Join us next Tuesday the 18th of March for a long awaited tasting with

George Duncan will be in the house guiding you through some brand new beers as well as a couple of firm favourites. This is a rare chance to catch up with the founder of one of NZ’s most well loved ‘experimental’ breweries and Wellington’s most sort after DJ 😛.

COME PARTY WITH US!

We have teamed up with to put on our first party in the laneway as part of our Sundaze series, MIAMI VICE!

We will have cocktails celebrating all things strawberry, coconut, pineapple and of course.. rum!

Expect slushies, ice cream, punches and some sophistication!

We also have the guys from providing us with pizzas which we will be serving by the slice.

We also have an array of local DJ’s to keep the party going all the way through the day.

CHRISTMAS HOURS!

We are open as usual this week and our last day of the year will be this Saturday 21st December so come down whilst you can and grab those last minute flagon fills, bottles of wine, Xmas beer boxes and more!
