Part-Time Retail & Food Assistant
Join the team at Vip’s Minimart / Vip’s Burger
Location: Temuka
Hours: Approx. 20 hours per week
🗓️ May include occasional weekend shifts

Vip’s Minimart is more than just a convenience store — we’re also home to Vip’s Burger, a fast-growing food brand that’s quickly become a local favourite in South Canterbury.
Business is booming, and our shop is consistently busy with locals and visitors alike. We’re adding to our team to help keep things running smoothly during peak times — not to replace any of our awesome existing staff, but to support the demand we’re proud to have built.
You’ll be joining a fun, fast-paced environment where the vibe is upbeat, the kitchen is bustling, and every day brings something new. If you like staying busy and being part of a growing local success story, this is for you.
👨🍳 Duties Include:
Serving customers at the counter with a smile
Assisting in the kitchen with basic cooking & burger prep
Restocking shelves and fridges
Keeping the store and food areas clean and tidy
Supporting day-to-day shop operations

✅ You’ll Need to Be:
Positive, friendly, and reliable
Able to work independently and take initiative
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment (kitchen + retail)
Flexible with hours, including some weekends
