Retail Assistant – Liquor Store (LCQ Qualified)
Location: Te Awamutu New Zealand
Rosetown Liquor Centre
Employment Type: Part Time/ Casual
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
We’re on the lookout for a friendly, responsible, and experienced Retail Assistant to join our team. If you’re passionate about providing top-notch customer service and have a solid understanding of New Zealand’s alcohol regulations, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers service and provide excellent product advice
Operate the POS system and handle transactions efficiently
Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and well-presented
Follow all alcohol sale laws and ID requirements
Receive and unpack deliveries
Assist with stocktaking and inventory management
Requirements:
LCQ Qualification (License Controller Qualification)
Retail or liquor store experience preferred
Current Manager’s Certificate (or willing to obtain – a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and honest
Must be 20 years or older. (legal requirement)
