Oh, Spain. The country of beautiful wine and music, as Goethe said a few hundred years ago. Not much has changed. We’ve picked some of our favourite Spanish wines, we’ve got them at remarkably good prices and put ‘em on sale, and frankly, you can’t go wrong. They’re juicy, delicious, and don’t take themselves too seriously ~ no hoity toity here, just good wine, plain and simple. Recommend having a siesta after partaking, and perhaps you’ll dream of Spain and some delicious Iberico ham! Bliss! ¡Salud!

Churchill said “it’s not just France we’re fighting for, it’s Champagne!”, while Oscar Wilde said that any pleasure without champagne is purely artificial. Abe Lincoln said “get your Champagne at the Glengarry Sale, it’s where I go!”, and we say Champagne is what we’d bathe in, if it didn’t sound so 18th century (as Diana Vreeland would’ve said: “why don’t you bathe in champagne while listening to your personal lute player soothe your nerves?”)

This week at Glengarry, we’re all about gin 💛 Let’s kick things off with Reid Brothers Distilling, a craft distillery from Martinborough, New Zealand, founded by brothers Stew and Chris Reid. With backgrounds in engineering and beverage production, they’ve reimagined what a “classic” gin can be by showcasing New Zealand’s unique flora.

Their flagship product, Native Gin, was first distilled in 2015 and quickly became a fan favourite. After countless trials, they perfected a recipe featuring manuka, kawakawa, and horopito, creating a gin that’s truly Kiwi 🇳🇿
