Kuaotunu Campground We are a family friendly holiday park situated across the road from a stunning beach in sunny Coromandel.

We have a playground, boat wash and filleting station, 3 ablution blocks with coin operated hot showers, kitchen/laundry facilities and BBQ area.

Kuaotunu Campground

We are a family friendly campground opposite a white sandy beach on the sunny Coromandel Peninsula. Our campground is open all year round with 30 powered and non-powered campsites and a variety of 30 cottages and units available for rent. We have a small convenience store with coffee and a takeaway shop that is open at peak times, all within the campground.

There is a playground for the children, boat wash and filleting station, three ablution blocks, kitchen, laundry and sheltered BBQ areas. There is no cell phone reception within the park, however we do offer low cost Wifi.

The camp borders a river which is great for kayaking and eeling. The area is well known for it’s excellent fishing, diving, snorkelling and hiking opportunities. Visit New Chum beach or enjoy a famous wood-fired pizza at Lukes Kitchen or a coffee at Kua Cafe. Nearest towns are Whitianga and Coromandel.
