Finally managed to get everyone together today for a much-needed catch-up!

We’ve been a little MIA with these guys lately as life has been absolutely hectic getting Edendale ready and up and running. Between four businesses, long hours, sleepless nights and everything in between, we haven’t had much time to just sit down, relax and enjoy each other’s company. So tonight was definitely needed!

We honestly couldn’t thank this amazing bunch enough for all their hard work, dedication and support. These are the people who help keep everything going behind the scenes, especially when things get crazy busy. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know!

And a massive thank you to their partners and families too. We know the early mornings, long days, weekend shifts and extra hours don’t just affect our team, but their loved ones as well. Thank you for supporting them, being patient and sharing them with us!

Running four businesses certainly hasn’t been easy, but having such a wonderful team behind us makes all the difference. We really couldn’t do it without you all.

So grateful for this little work family we’ve built. Here’s to more catch-ups, laughs and good memories together!

Thank you for being part of S**ggadale Team. We appreciate you all so much!

Hello Edendale! 👋☕️🤎

We thought it was about time we introduced ourselves!

We’re Simone and Royce, the proud new owners of Edendale Dairy!

Some of you may already know us as the owners of The Black S**g Boutique Café in Invercargill, and we’re so excited to be starting another chapter here in Edendale!

Over the past couple of weeks, you may have already noticed a few changes around the shop, and there are plenty more exciting things to come! We’re slowly working towards giving the dairy a fresh new look and a new name Edendale Boutique Dairy Café (which is currently in the process of changing!).

Our vision is to bring great food, great coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to the Edendale community, while still keeping the convenience of your local dairy that everyone knows and loves.

We have lots of exciting plans in the works, from introducing delicious café-style food and freshly made coffee to creating a little space where locals can pop in, grab a bite, catch up and feel right at home.

As a family-run business, we believe in good food, friendly service and looking after the people who support us. Owning The Black S**g has taught us so much, and we’re excited to bring that same passion and love for what we do to Edendale, while creating something special for this community.

We just ask that you please bear with us as we find our feet on this new adventure! While we have experience running a café, taking on a dairy is something new for us, and there’s still so much for us to learn. We may make a few mistakes along the way, and things might not always go perfectly, but we’re learning every day and doing our very best to make things better. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding and support as we grow into this new chapter. And of course, we’re always happy to hear your feedback and suggestions!

Most importantly, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already welcomed us and continued to support the shop. We really appreciate all the friendly faces, lovely conversations and encouragement we’ve received so far.

We’re looking forward to getting to know more of you, listening to your ideas and becoming part of this wonderful little community. After all, we want this to be a place that locals can be proud to call their own!

Here’s to new beginnings, good coffee, great food and many exciting things ahead! ☕️🤎

With love,
Simone & Royce
