Hundreds of holidaymakers are spending up to 90 minutes queuing outside a Benidorm hotel pool from 7.30am before racing for sunbeds. โฐ๐โโ๏ธ
Hayley Newland, 39, from Brighton was staying with her family when she witnessed the daily scramble.
People were waiting behind a barrier long before security guards opened the pool area at 9am.
And this wasn't just a one-off.
Hayley watched the exact same thing happen every single morning of her 10-day stay. ๐ฒ
Guests would stream through in a frantic bid to claim their sunbed spot the second the barrier lifted.
Hayley simply sat back and watched the stampede unfold.
She called the entire spectacle "chaos for no reason". ๐
โOnce the chaos was over, I would go and find some beds for my family with no problem,โ she said.
She managed to get a spot every day without ever joining the 7.30am rush.
The footage is now reigniting the debate over whether getting up at the crack of dawn to bag a sunbed is ever actually worth it.
