Limited edition Rum, aged at sea aboard Tres Hombres ship. Tres Hombres Rum is hand selected and sail shipped from the finest distilleries to Europe.

The taste of Tres Hombres rum, which differs every year, is as exquisite and exciting as its production and shipping process. The distillation of the rum is followed by years of maturing in oak barrels and the unique experience of ‘aging at sea’ aboard Tres Hombres Ship. The traditional distillation methods, performed by various distilleries in the Canary Islands and the Caribbean, produces rum su

itable for exciting salsa parties as well as quiet moments by a fire. Many editions have manually placed labels, or manually sealed tops, which give them their Caribbean appearance and feel, and beautifully express the romantic lifestyle associated with Tres Hombres Ship and the Fairtransport community. Tres Hombres Rum is a collector’s item and recognizable as such; each year a certain amount of limited edition bottles are produced and shipped.

We love a good Tres Hombres Rum Tasting 😍

Last Friday (11/04) Captain Andreas represented Fairtransport at the Tres Hombres Rum Tasting organised by Slijterij Zeewijck in IJmuiden. Amazing stories, the best rum, some delicious food from Dutch Bros. Smokers and some Tres Hombres Chocolate for a sweet touch: can you imagine a better way to start the weekend?

A big thank you to everyone who joined and the great organisation, it was an unforgettable evening!

Off to our first stop of the wintertrip 2024-2025!

After a few days of delay, Tres Hombres finally started her wintertrip last Sunday!

First stop → Douarnenez 🇨🇵 There, the crew will load second hand barrels to age the new Tres Hombres Rums as well as wine barrels that will be sailing along during the entire round trip to age at sea!

Discover Tres Hombres Rum at stand E15 at The Art of Drinks this weekend!

The event takes place in Amsterdam in De Kromhouthal on the 26th, 27th and 28th of October. Will we see you there?

Sail-shipped from the Canary Islands and Caribbean on the motorless sailing vessel the Tres Hombres, this rum went through a second aging at sea. Only limited editions available and many stories! Learn about the sailing cargo missions of Tres Hombres and Fairtransport and discover the unique taste of our different rum editions. Of course, for true rum fans, there is even the possibility to taste our Captain’s Choice editions…

Beginning of September we participated in the 13th German Rum Festival in Berlin!

Tres Hombres finally dropped its anchor near the island of Marie-Galante. As you can see the empty rum barrels are transported to the distillery in a very special way 😜

The Fairtransport office team and the Tres Hombres crew wish you all happy holidays and a beautiful 2024 full of health, joy, sails and ships!

We are very thankful that after all these years, Fairtransport and Tres Hombres are still sailing the seas with only the power of the wind to move the rum, among other products, to the European continent. We are very proud of this project and everyone that made it possible over the last years and hopefully for many more years to come ❤️

2023 has been a very busy year for us, many things have changed, progress has been made and new projects are to be presented very soon in 2024…
