De Kromme Haring - Our Full Range Now Online!

We’ve been championing Brewery De Kromme Haring right from the start. They’re one of our favourite local breweries, with their ability to dial it in on almost any style and knock it out of the park making them one of the best all round breweries out there.

Today’s selection shows exactly that with Hazy, West Coast and Sour IPAs, a beautiful rich Baltic Porter, and a couple of extremely good takes on classic Belgian styles with a Strong Saison and a Belgian Bitter.

They’ve been cranking these out with little fuss and a lot of style for years - so today we’re giving them another moment in the spotlight.

3 Fonteinen / Cuvée Armand & Gaston + Oude Kriek Bio

Two beautiful examples of why 3 Fonteinen is one of the GOATs of Belgian brewing are now on our webshop.

The Cuvée Armand & Gaston series is a staff favourite, with each different blend bringing an extra element or nuance which elevates it above the regular 3 Fonteinen Gueuze. This particular blend, bottled in 2024, has an addition of chestnut flower honey which rounds out the acidity with a delicate floral note which really makes this beer sing!

The Oude Kriek has some age on it, with a bottling date in 2023. Pours a rich and deep red, and brings a lovely tart and light acidity which never overwhelms. This is a slightly lighter Kriek compared to some of their others, which makes it even more refreshing and sprightly - great option for pairing, or simply sipping at the day’s end.

Amped Up Tree House Bangers + A West Coast Bitter Bruiser!

Today’s drop pulls no punches with three HUGE amped-up haze bombs, and an absolutely brilliantly executed West Coast IPA.

Double Fruit, Doubleganger and Massive Orange are showing what happens when you push some already extreme Tree House recipes to their limits:

Double Fruit is a version of Doubleganger, but with copious amounts of peach puree added into the mix. How does the original taste you ask? Well, thankfully we’ve got that here too - with Doubleganger in stock (Doubleganger being an already amped up version of Doppleganger…). And if these aren’t enough, then why not really push the boat out with Massive Orange - a version of Massive Treat but with orange puree added?

Omnipollo X Moksa / All The Coconut

Following on from the All The Vanilla brew, here’s another deep investigation into the power of coconut in this extremely rich, decadent and layered BA Imperial Stout.

Pouring as black as crude oil, and with a beautiful viscosity, the first thing that will hit you is the beautiful aromas of rich dark chocolate and luxurious coconut. Flavour follows on this path, with layers of coconut and some barrel notes resulting in an unbelievably smooth and soft expression of what is essentially a liquid dessert.

There is no way this should be this smooth - just another great beer!

Heady Bangers from Alchemist!

Big, bitter and uncompromising. These are two of the best, two beers which meet the hype, and are ready and waiting in-store and online.

If you’re sick of juice, begging for some dankness, or want an IPA or DIPA which punch rather than caress - these are your beers. They may have helped start the haze-craze, but these beers owe a debt of gratitude to the West Coast and the IBU wars - simply amazing balance and depth for beers of this level of aggression, and illustrations of just what hand-selected Citra and Mosaic (and some mystery hops?) can produce.
