DON'T BE A SELFISH HUSBAND 📌.
Sometimes, I just can’t understand how some men can be so insensitive and selfish.
Your wife is on the delivery bed, crying in pain. The doctor, after careful examination, says she cannot deliver the baby naturally. A caesarean section is urgently needed to save both mother and child.
But as her husband, you ignore the medical advice. You insist: “She had the previous ones naturally, she can do it again.”
You decide she must push, regardless of the risks.
And then... tragedy strikes.
She dies😭.
The baby dies😭.
All because you refused to listen. Because pride and ego were louder than reason.
Let’s be honest: when doctors say “surgery is needed”, that’s not the time to play God. It’s not the moment to argue.
That’s the time to hand it over to God in prayer and trust the experts.
In situations like this, I strongly believe the woman or her family should be allowed to make that decision, especially when it’s her life on the line.
HOW MANY MORE WOMEN MUST DIE DURING CHILDBIRTH BECAUSE OF DELAY OR DENIAL ON THE PART OF THE HUSBAND?
Let’s do better. Let’s protect our wives, our sisters, our daughters.
