Taman Eko Rimba Sg Sendat
Not far from Sg Tua, there's another nature spot called Sg Sendat.
While Sg Tua is known for its long river stretches and picnic areas, Sungai Sendat offers something a little different — a series of waterfalls hidden within the forest.
There are a few tiers of waterfalls to explore, with cool water flowing through the forest and plenty of spots to sit back and enjoy the surroundings. The water was refreshing, the air felt cooler than the city, and everything moved at a much slower pace.
What we liked most was how accessible it is.
No long trek.
No difficult climb.
Just park your car and enjoy nature.
One thing we noticed: The waterfall area had very few to no mosquitoes, which made it comfortable to spend time there. There are shaded areas as well.
The river and picnic areas near the lower section had more mosquitoes because of the surrounding trees, so bringing repellent is still a good idea. 😂
