The Aladino Connecticut Queens Perfecto started out with more notes of cream, wood, and cedar. As the cigar progressed through the first third, the cream and cedar notes moved into the forefront. The cream notes maintained a slight edge during this stage of the cigar. As the cigar moved through the first third, nut and slight citrus notes surfaced in the background. Meanwhile, the retro-hale produced an additional layer of wood and black pepper.

As the Queens Perfecto moved into the second third, the cedar and cream notes still were grounded in the forefront and were pretty much sharing the role of providing the primary flavors. A slight black pepper note was not present on the tongue. Toward the midway point, the citrus notes took control for a short time – providing a nice sweetness. The cream and wood settled in the background with the cedar, pepper, and nut flavors.

The burn of the Aladino Connecticut Queens Perfecto scored nicely. This is a cigar that had a slight amount of curvature on the burn line from time to time, but in the end didn’t have any problems maintaining a straight burn path. The resulting ash was a salt and pepper colored skewed toward the darker side. This was a firm ash that caame off the cigar in clean chunks. The burn rate and burn temperature were both ideal.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour Features a Unique concoction of to***cos assembled by hand in the Dominican Republic. The immaculate, dark chocolate-hued Ecuador Habano Oscuro Wrapper is very oily with thin vein structure.

Aromas from the cigar’s foot are quite floral with hints of chocolate, leather, and pepper. The cold draw adds a bit more depth with bold notes of wood, wet earth, and a light saltiness. Once lit, Late Hour really entices the senses. Up front are intense flavors of charred oak and cracked black pepper, while there is a bit of citrus and graham cracker on the retrohale. Notes of pepper slowly fade away allowing the profile to become creamier and more balanced as salted hints of leather and bread enter the picture.

When lit, the Winston Churchill Davidoff Late in the evening, the scotch and citrus flavors intensify. These combine with the strength of the remaining flavors from the cold draw to create a creamy smoothness. There’s also a lovely oak note that’s present but not overwhelming. The peppery flavor takes on a darkened tone that unifies all of the elements. The burn line was even and the smoke produced was intermediate.

Starts off with more tea flavors and very mild hints of white pepper, especially on the retrohale. The velvety medium bodied smoke continues to delight the palate.

A noticeable creaminess enters the palate during the 2nd third which perfectly complements the tea and cedar that form the backbone of the taste. Again, the flavors are extremely well-balanced, which is a real joy to experience!

The flavor of the cigar remained consistent once it got going: it tastes like a brisk cup of very fine tea with some milk added. The cedar flavor remained in the background adding a delicate note of sweetness.

The strength of the cigar during the first third falls into the mild category, but the flavor of the cigar is such that it does not feel lacking in any way. The cigar also put out a consistent and very pleasing aroma characterized by sweet cedar and forest floor in autumn.

The cold draw of the Winston Churchill serves up notes of melted butter over toast. In the background there is a faint earth that borders on the classic Kelner profile of barnyard, however, it is extremely light in comparison to some of his other blends. The foot of the cigar has a dirt small of dry desert which is reminiscent of the Southwest.

Once the cigar is lit there is a subtle pepper note and an abundance of cedar. The buttery richness experienced on the prelight experience carries over to the cigar as it is incredibly creamy. Smoke through the first of the cigar the cedar notes intensify and a touch of leather is introduced.

In the second third of the Winston Churchill cigar Commander the pepper notes through the nose intensify slightly as the leather notes slowly become the dominant profile as the cedar slides into the background. The cigar remains creamy and smooth.

The last third of the cigar continues with notes of leather and some cedar on the finish. There is some spice through the nose and the aroma of the cigar is reminiscent of eel sushi.

The one thing that stands out most is the draw of the cigar which was absolutely perfect. There was the right amount of resistance, and it enhanced the experience. The burn of the cigar was almost perfect with an ultra thin burn line which revealed a salt and pepper ash that held on for more than a third at a time.
This cigar is truly something special, with flavor, strength and balance.

The Illusione Original Documents Habano starts off with a nice subtle cayenne pepper spice which starts subtly but builds up through the first few puffs before dropping out completely. Once the pepper made its exit the cigar releases notes of molasses, pecan, honey, creamed coffee and lots of earthiness/natural to***co flavors with subtle spice notes and a nice citrus/orange aftertaste. The draw is absolutely perfect as each little puff kicks out huge clouds of thick, gray smoke which hangs out the cigar releases a very minor amount of stationary smoke. The burn line is razor thin and dead even leaving behind a trail of tightly compacted white ash which held on for a little over an inch before giving way.

Into the final third of the Illusione Original Documents Habano and this cigar is a banger. The flavor profile hasn’t changed up much,The main flavors are still the molasses, pecan and honey with lighter notes coffee, earthiness, and spice with a great little ginger and citrus making their way in for an encore of flavor.

The wrapper on the Davidoff Signature 6000 is medium tan and has some thin, knotty veins as well as some wrinkles. The seams are smooth and the caps are applied very well. The cigar has two bands, with the primary being the traditional white label design and the secondary carrying the same color combination and denoting the line. The aroma from the wrapper is dry and lightly sweet hay while the foot brings a fuller and more detailed version of the same.

The cigar begins with dry, toasted hay and light mustiness. At a half inch in, a light creaminess joins the profile which lessens the dryness in the profile. The retrohale is light creamy and musty toasted hay. As the third comes to a close, the toasted hay is the main player with some light creaminess and mustiness accompanying it. The strength in this third was mild-medium.

The second third continues on with the slightly creamy and musty toasted hay. At a half inch in, the creaminess departs, the mustiness becomes even lighter, the toasted hay is now toasted wood and the overall profile is now fairly dry. The retrohale is now just toasted wood. The third wraps up with slightly musty, toasted dry wood. The strength in this third bumped up to slightly below medium.

The burn was razor sharp the entire way and the ash held on in about inch and a half increments.

The Zino Nicaragua Robusto starts off with a dry, toasty flavour that tingles the front half the tongue. There’s a bit of a hay like taste on the tongue as well, some occasional smokiness in the retrohale, and a lovely creamy body.

The Zino Nicaragua Robusto kicked off with notes of cream, toasted cedar, earth, and a light berry note. The cream notes moved into the forefront early on, then the cedar moved into the forefront. The earth notes settled into the background and were the most prominent of the secondary notes. The berry notes were more distant and were joined by a chestnut note. The retro-hale produced a mix of cedar and black pepper.

This is certainly a cigar worth trying and one you should add to your humidor for an easy choice when you want a cigar or for when you want something flavourful and enjoyable for a guest. The cigar definitely delivers for new smokers or experienced.

The Davidoff Signature 2000 has a great aroma that seamlessly combines Costa Rican coffee with dry leaves and walnuts. You get white pepper and hay flavors, not to mention it retains a very sharp burn. Cigar aficionados will like the retrohale, a floral twang that gives a retro feel and a distinctive cigar-smoking experience.

You’ll also notice that the spice is picking up with the heat, but it dissipates rather quickly. So even if it does get spicey a little bit, it will wear off, which is always a good sign. For a lot of people, the Davidoff Signature 2000 review will be very positive towards the end, since that’s when the flavor intensity is really high. The ash ends up white, and there are no relights, which is nice.
